McDonald's have just launched a new in-app offer for Halloween. Scroll down on the homepage and tap Play Now to take part.

Every day you'll be given the choice of Trick or Eat.

Choosing Eat guarantees you any of the following for £2.49:
  • Big Mac
  • McPlant
  • Quarter Pounder with cheese
  • Filet-O-Fish
  • Vegetable Deluxe
  • McChicken Sandwich
  • 6 McNuggets
  • Veggie Dippers
  • Big Flavour Wrap

Choosing Trick will get you one of the following in-app offers:
  • 15% off your order (1 in 10 chance)
  • £1.49 menu item (3.5 in 10 chance)
  • £5 off £20 spend (3.5 in 10 chance)
  • 5% off your order (2 in 10 chance)

1 player per day will also win a McDonald's Gold Card for a free meal a week for a year. That seems pretty unlikely but if you win you probably owe me? Just sayin'

Offers are only valid on the day you win them. Full terms can be found here: mcdonalds.com/gb/…tml

Good luck!

    £1.49 big Mac. Cheers

If it’s just for Big Mac it’s better value to do a survey for a £1.99 Big Mac and fries deal

Spend £20, save £5. Gota redeem it by midnight

I’ve had 15% off on the trick for 3 days in a row, but haven’t used any. Wonder what the eat one would get me
    oldsystem's avatar
Says in the terms. Eat is fixed at £2.49 core item.

I got £2.49 for an “iconic menu item”. Which includes the wraps of the day, which cost £1.99 without this offer!! Pass!!!
  6. andrewworrall1's avatar
I also picked trick as the email suggests that is the option that gives you the chance to win a Gold Card. I got 5% off. Does anyone know if the Gold Card is an instant win or if you are entered into a draw to win it? (edited)

I got £5 off £20 spend. We never spend that amount there!

    That’s a whole lot of £1.99’s, will cause a stir I’m sure manager won’t be impressed don’t think I’ve ever spent £20 there being a HDUK’er

Picked eat, got a £2.49 iconic menu item. Think I'll stick with my £1.99 survey offer.
    Thanks anyway OP.
    banshee3099's avatar
True but you can only choose Big Mac or fish burger with that.

This is an awful deal if you use the WHS vouchers you can get a burger and chips for £1.99 or fill in the food for thought survey. I only eat the fish burger and the breakfast muffin. The other burgers taste cheap and awful .

If you want a wrap go to KFC and get their wrap of the day for £1:99 there so much better than McDonald's mon-fri only (edited)
    oldsystem's avatar
Suppose its awful if you have a voucher and want a Big Mac or whatever the veggie alternative is.
If no voucher or you don't want a Big Mac then it's excellent.
Can get nuggets or quarter pounder a lot cheaper than normal. Or the £5 voucher someone below wanted. (edited)

OP is wrong as others say, it's £2.49 for the offer, MORE expensive for some items than just buying it normally.
    Cold!

If you choose eat it's £2.49, trick has a chance of being £1.49, that's what my post originally said but someone changed it while I was sleeping, outrageous!

How did this get through HUD control when the post I made 24 hours ago was moved to competitions?

HUKD moves in mysterious ways... I did search to make sure no one else had posted this before I did mine, and your post didn't come up. Sorry about that!

3.5 in 10 should really be 7 in 20 if we're being pedantic, I'm just quoting what's in the terms and conditions!
  21. RaMoS87's avatar
5% of your order, Wohoo! A slight contribution to the fuel getting there I feel bumped
  22. Delboy12's avatar
Mine was a big Mac for £2.49. everyone else gets it for £1.49

    15% off. No thanks
    RaMoS87's avatar
    Lucky! I got 5% :-)
  24. elliot1234's avatar
Got a £1.49 Big Mac by selecting the "Trick" option. Think I'll also stick with my regular £1.99 Big Mac + Fries deal
    andrewworrall1's avatar
Yep that's only worth it if you don't want fries and they used to be 99p with similar offers to this deal. I'm surprised the £1.99 deal hasn't gone up in all honesty
  25. maccalen's avatar
    Well, that was terrifying.

48536490_1.jpgThanks OP good deal on my lunch with the 15% off that I finally got

Plus I can charge my phone in the McDonald's I'm at, not with those rubbish wireless charging points some of the restaurants have

I'm guessing it's because of Trick or Eat that today there's no McDonald's Monday offers? I got 5% off again today
  31. rvnmax's avatar
A bit late, but just to balance things I got the 1.49 offer (the best one) on two different accounts on Monday.

I only redeemed it on one account, which also had a 30% first time app order voucher on. So I got my McPlant for 1.04.

I redeemed another 1.99 deal from "food for thoughts" code via the screen. I've only just worked out how to process these codes via the app, so I may have been able to get the 30% off on that as well.

All this fancy app stuff. I just want some old school Metro £1.99 vouchers...... i dont need all this
  33. RaMoS87's avatar
Usually the Daily deals are the same for everyone with previous offers, anyone else got the £1.49 Big Mac or something else?
    andrewworrall1's avatar
No 5% off here but I believe that's because I picked trick - however going by the previous comments other people picking trick have 15% off, I don't think it is the same for everyone each day this time
  34. Mellor's avatar
    I got spend £20 save £5
    RaMoS87's avatar
Gonna spend £20 by midnight? Or you feel obliged now? Usual dilemma when this deals on
  35. John_Shortland's avatar

Is this the same every day? £2.49 item doesn't interest me so it's probably worth the gamble every morning if that's the case.
