Its why they put their prices up. JustEat takes about 15% comission I think but they don't deliver the food
35% is huge! I guess it sorts out drivers for the restaurants but it’s quite a hefty chunk to give away
Wow (shock) They must be making quite a nice amount of money based on how many people deliver for them. Now it makes sense why they're so keen for riders to keep delivering even when it's snowing by offering "surge" offers to riders of a measly £1-£2 extra to risk serious injury. It's pretty amazing that restaurants are willing to pay 35% especially with no upper cap limit, but i guess they'd much rather be listed on the Deliveroo app than not be there.
