49105341-vK8Zb.jpgYou can fit the standard straps to these - you don’t have to buy the ultra straps (edited)

If Steve jobs was alive he’d have sacked designer of this watch. What an ugly fat looking watch. Where’s apple asthenic touch gone?

Poor deal, straps are £99. So £700 for a used (like new) watch that sells for £819 new on Amazon.

MyMemory have navy blue Sport bands for £10, not as fancy as the ones that come with the Ultra but they will fit and work fine.

Wouldn’t that just be a standard Apple Watch?

I still can't get my head around spending that much money on a watch that will be rendered useless within a few years.
    Same with Airpods.

Useless? If it lasts for 4 years whats the problem. All metrics is saved on your phone so once you replace your smartwatch and get new one, happybdays.

I'd rather pay 800 for a brand new one with a good strap They get so filthy and dirty used.

Just buy a new strap then. A grade is usually mint, seems like a great deal to me

Risky if it goes faulty. You'll end up with a £600 credit note. CEX don't like giving you your money back. (edited)

I love apple products but this deal is just over the top and makes no sense whatsoever. Someone pointed out if you buy an original strap what you would get if you buy this watch new you have minimal savings for a second hand device.

This is not a smart move in my view and we have nearly everything from apple. (edited)

Why can't someone buy a 20 quid strap instead?

How do they have 13 with no boxes and no strsps?

They usually buy a watch and a strap separately.

Traded in some stuff and purchased via click and collect. Excellent condition, and boxed as new. Thank you for posting (edited)

I would like one of these as the screen is much brighter than the other Apple Watches. Also the battery is insane but I hate the colour of the shell. I hope apple will bring out a black version in the future.

Unlikely as they are titanium, part of the reason the price is so high.

I love my apple watch I have even bought the daughter one last year for Christmas and she has never been a watch wearer but has never had it off her wrist they are so much more than just a watch.
if curious  buy one and see how good they are

What’s the battery life like? Have Apple cracked their smart watches needing to be charged daily yet?

Picked up yesterday click and collect. Watch looks brand new in original box! Picked up an official leather strap in Tk Maxx for £29. Already had trade in credit to use great way to pick up one of these cheap.

Great choice. I still can't get my head around spending this much money on a watch in which you can buy a phone itself.

Grade A always a questionable from
CEX but lets see what comes in the post

Grade A should be the least questionable.

Also you have 14 days to get a full refund if you buy online, so no real risk.

i just bought 1 from amazon yesterday - i love it - bigger face is v good for me , does anyone know how the 24 months warranty works ?
    gav247's avatar
    gav247
Not too sure as they will be used so there will be an element of the original 24 months with apple then likely topped up with CeX ones. If anything goes wrong you will probably get pushed between Apple and CeX.

Not voting as I may be missing something but the straps cost £100 that’s omitted so you’re saving £150 from brand new essentially if you replace it. What’s that like 20% ish off for a used product. I think this is great if you have something to trade, but flat out price I’m not sure.

Just can't justify the cost of the Ultra. Within a year, they'll bring out the Ultra Series 2 to make your £800 purchase out of date.

Seems like a pretty decent deal as you can get third party straps from Amazon or eBay pretty cheap

Personally waiting for the Gen 2 with smaller bezels

Better without the strap and left in a drawer. Get a real watch.
