    Just got a £50 compensation voucher off Samsung after a lot of to and fro as they refused changing the headphones and then I threatened small claims court but result nevertheless

    Just found out that the Samsung S8 can be used as a secondary screen for a PC which I think will come in handy. Can use the built in feature or an app called SuperDisplay which looks like it works better. Anyone had experience of using the Samsung S8 Plus tablet as a secondary display?

    I use my S7 plus as a second screen with I have to work outside my office ( like cafe Nero lol)

    Works wirelessly and with a HDMI connection. The HDMI is much smoother than wireless.

    Great solution if you work on the go.

    Just an update regarding the Y45BT headphones.

    I contacted Samsung on Tuesday night. They investigated this. Sent me an email yesterday to say it was a mistake and a courier will be arranged to drop off the Y400 and pick up the incorrect Y45s. DPD did just that about an hour ago. Great service tbh

    Also claimed the free 12 months Disney+ offer which I didn't even think was a thing until I read above so this deal has been unbelievable for me tbh

    Update on my Disney+ Claim experience: You need to be using the Samsung Browser from your tab to generate the code. Also helps if you are in Secret Mode etc. - sorted after a 15 minute Live Chat. (edited)

    See my advice above. I had to use (had to reinstall it, because I can't stand it!) Samsung Browser, and use in "Secret Mode", all done whilst I was in Live Chat with an agent. - I don't know, but maybe they helped with something their end in the background? Either way, I got there in the end. Give them a go, you're definitely eligible.

    In other news, I got my Adidas voucher this week. Just waiting to hear back from Support re: my headphone exchange, which I am still pushing for

    Then email replies back to their monotonous tone deaf response back about me being "happy" that I got a headphone in the 1st place as it was "free"
    Then if "am happy to keep item sent"
    NO
    Then we won't exchange it
    Be prepared for small claims court then
    Here have the £30 voucher
    NO I want £50 as you have wasted my time
    Them have £50 and don't show us your face again

    It's really just the screen size. I went to compare the ultra and s8+ in person and think the ultra is just a bit too big to hold it in your hands or rest on your lap. Also worth mentioning the keyboard for the ultra is almost a must, and it really isn't cheap at £300 usually but have seen it as low as £200, with the guy in the Samsung shop saying he could do it for half price. You do also get the 8GB, 12GB and 16GB ram variants of the ultra whereas the s8+ only comes in 8GB which might be a factor for you.

    I hadn't bought it yet but I'm going to buy the s8+ on this deal. It feels to me like it's just much more practical in day to day use.

    I got the Y45's delivered with my tablet and got onto customer service and they sent me a label to return them for the Y400's. A week later a box arrived with the same set of Y45's. Couldn't believe what I am seeing. All the paperwork refers to Y400's though. I have now made a complaint and they want me to send them back again. I am going round in circles. How did you guys get them to listen and sort a voucher?

    I have sent the Y45's back and got an email saying I have returned 0 x Y400 for exchange. Total incompetence. Will give it another week for them to send the Y400's out or I'm taking it further as I don't have either the Y400 or Y45's now

    I have had the S8+ since launch. Excellent tablet and from a portability standpoint, better than the Ultra. I got mine with the keyboard cover which is also very useful.

Cancelled that and now trying to place this but for some reason the samsung finance option seems broken. When i click it gives a long error message and wont take me to the next page. Now this will go out of stock by the time its fixed. My luck
