Yes, it has Google Play store. And yes, the CCP will track you. (edited)

Reality is you heard US spied on german president, south Korean president, but never have evidence CCP doing to general public.

CCP have such advanced technology that no one actually manage to give actual edvience how they spy on you? (edited)

Great spec and price but unable to connect to WiFi. Sent back to Amazon
    razo's avatar
Certain WiFi routers, when operating in fused ssid mode (dual band 2.4GHz and 5GHz but single network name SSID) are incompatible with the WiFi on the Snapdragon 680 (and some other Snapdragon chips), it's a known issue.

So that's probably the issue. It's not recommended to operate your router in this mode anyway. All you'd need to do is give the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands different names in the router settings.

Would this be better than a Samsung A8?
    win26's avatar
Yes, bigger and better screen, sound, faster processor and battery life. The A8 is kinda old now.

Got one a month ago. Quite happy with it for the price. It's fast enough for basic gaming, the screen is huge and the widescreen works well for movies or reading vertically. Fantastic all rounder for under 200.

Thanks OP ordered. Found a serial number of a Honor phone listed on eBay and used it to get the 10% discount. TCB offering 8.5% too. Fingers crossed
    innocent's avatar
Like the bit about finding the serial number, not saintly but there you go
  6. bruce287's avatar
Where do you input the serial number or do I need to register an account first?

Man I just received this and... am I crazy or is this an utter piece of trash?

iPads from 2010 were more responsive than this. My 2013 Nexus 7 ran faster than this.

And absolutely every single useful option is locked down behind their crap custom UI, there's only about 20% of the usual settings you should get with an Android device available to you.

Even little things you can't change like tap to unlock instead of a (unreliable and unresponsive) "swipe up" gesture. You can't tap the device to wake it up. You can't add a second user account (again, my 10 year old nexus could do this). It constantly spams me with tutorials I never asked for. The lock screen is littered with buttons telling me to reenable crap like "magazine lock mode"

Some icons are blurry like they aren't even high res, the keyboard is comically oversized, the whole thing hangs slightly with every app you open.

I know it was a bargain, but it's also less than a year old, can't think of any reason any device should be this poor at this day and age.

I'm sending mine back I think, I'll go back to iPad or splash out on the new Pixel thing....
    Dobsie's avatar
You should have had a better look through the settings; double tap to wake is enable-able, you can skip/uninstall the tutorials app, the keyboard can be changed to gboard which is identical to what you get on a pixel (and can be made smaller), mine doesn't hang at all (although I do change the animation scales from 1.0 to 0.5 like I do on my pixel).
I haven't tried adding another account and have no idea what lockscreen buttons you're talking about. I'm actually quite impressed with how close it is to stock Android.
Only gripe I have is I tried using it as a sat nav but it won't keep locked on, probably because it doesn't have a mobile radio. Oh and Microsoft the jammy gits make you pay for office 365 to do anything useful on a screen over 10"

Quick delivery from Honor. Very nice tablet. Sound is great too, which really helps my Mum as she's hard hard of hearing. She's really pleased with it. Lovely size too, stood next to my S6 Lite, makes it look tiny Great price and feels quality. Bought a nice cover for it from Amazon for £12.99. Sorted (edited)

Considered it then read the advertising material on the website.

    "12-Inch 2K Eye
    Protection HONOR
    Fullview Display

    Double authoritative eye
    protection certifications"

If they're that careless with their English. What flakiness will be in the software.

My topcashback 10% cashback is been declined by Honor.

I assume it is because I used a discount code.
