    I can guarantee there's nothing in the Swindon extra store I work there & we had a refit & removed all physical games, controllers etc a month ago, the only thing game related we have left are game cards like switch credit, psn etc. When the app says there's stock there probably is but the system hasn't been updated or the most likely, it's in a secure box on a cage waiting to be sent back on a trailer. I found this out a few weeks back when we supposedly had stock of several switch games for dirt cheap but we'd already emptied the shelves & tills of all games so they were either locked up waiting to go back or had already been sent back (edited)

    I did check comments in previous God of War Ragnarök post and people were commenting and still picking up copies in multi locations in the last few days e.g. Potters Bar, Ilkeston so there is some stock but will be limited,

    Ely Superstore is listed as having God of War Ragnarok in stock, but I went in and asked, and they don't.

    Don't go by what you see on the shelf; you need to ask. They had some Switch games that weren't represented on the shelf at all. (edited)

    It is only in the Tesco extra stores. But my local (wilmslow) had 2 FIFA 23 PS5s in stock (I took one) and the Gorton had Horizon PS5. BUT, the staff at the customer services don’t know they still have them. Ask a manager or someone who works on the toys and games section. They might know where the games were stored when Tesco took them off the shelves.

    Use the Tesco groceries app and select shop in store then select your store and check stock. If it says in stock; it is. If you won’t to make absolutely sure it’s in stock wait for 60 mins and check stock again (as stock updates every hour); if it’s still in stock at that point go have a look.

    I even managed to get horizon at a crazy £1.48!!

Last time tried yo grab Gran Turismo copy as it was showing in stock and lovely lady at customer service desk told me that I am 6th person asking for it that day and they don't have games since end of Jan so big hit and miss with stock levels but good for you for getting one (edited)

    Is there any way to confirm stock in addition to the app? There’s an “apparent” copy of Mario Strikers at a store 15 miles from my local at a Tesco Metro, but following comments of the app being unreliable I’m hesitant to travel
