I've been using one for the past year or so. It hasn't let me down, the screen is great and can easily be seen outdoors. Battery life is excellent too, often going two weeks between charges.

Crazy weekend, when apart from the watch in this deal, everything has been cheaper direct. Even the beige colour watch has been £57 before from an eBay seller

Never understand why more of these don't have NFC. It's a game changer on a watch.

All have the NFC tech and antenna, but in Europe they need to go over a payment provider. Which in Europe is Google wallet, Samsung pay etc. They are not allowing the ePayment of the providers from Asia.

How is the sizing for kids (young teens)?
    dkj255's avatar
The watch itself is 44mm so adult mens size. Looks fine on my huge wrists (strap only just fits on last hole) but I'd imagine would look a bit silly on smaller wrists - for those a 40mm watch (or maybe a square-shaped one) might be better. However it takes a standard size strap (22mm?) which is easily replaced if you need a bigger or smaller one.

Check out the Haylou LS12 (or the LS10 if you really want a round watch) from MyMemory - it's less than half the price of this and surprisingly good for the money, though it doesn't have GPS or Alexa. (edited)

I bet the screen would scratch in my workplace!

You can get a screen protector for it off Amazon

i picked up one of these about a year ago for this price and it's pretty good value. Couple of hiccups here and there, but decent for the price.

I have the S1 Active and can't get Xiaomi Pay or Amazon's Alexa to work and the units are in metric.

Good find @MrSwitch my friend paid over £90 for this when it was launched. (edited)

Can this be, used as a gps tracker? Mainly for elderly parent with dementia?
  13. ziggycat's avatar
I had some points to use due to the fact MrSwitch made me buy too many phones in 2022
So I bagged 2 of these for £91 which cant be sniffed at (edited)

Thanks mate I'm looking to get s1 active which is going down too but not by much was hoping that around £70

I've got this watch and prefer it to my Samsung watch. Sure it doesn't do anywhere near as much (no NFC for example) but it actually has a useable battery and decent size display - 44mm from memory.

Just bought one in blue as my gt2 screen broke how would this compare mine was gt2
    Totalex27's avatar
I've also got a GT2 and it's been good but I'm getting a bit tired of the low refresh rate and ocassional irresponsiveness. I do also wonder how these two compare

    Says face is 1.39" ...

    44mm is 1.73"
    dkj255's avatar
Dunno but it's the same diameter as my Galaxy Watch5 Pro (though not as thick) and I'm sure that's 44mm. The standard 40mm Watch5 and Watch4 are smaller than this. I believe the size quoted is of the display within, not the body.
