    WD usually use built in USB connectors in their passport HDDs, so at a guess I'd say this is the same. I'd say just play it safe and get a SATA SSD instead, there are bargains to be had on those and you won't have to invalidate the warranty taking them apart.

    Presumably this could be used to record from a smart TV.Although it may not support many hours at HD.

    Hot! Very good deal. While 500GB may not be a lot for some, but may suit others. I don't need it, but typical with Argos clearance, when you want something, you can't find it at your local, and when you don't need it, you find it available.

    Seems to be a super price - a (very) quick google shows this is ~£80-90 elsewhere.
    I have been on the lookout for a good deal on a 1tb drive to replace my 500gb but for this price heck I'll just have the two 500gb drives.

    It is a very good price indeed. But forget £80-90 elsewhere. Samsung, SanDisk (which is the same as WD) and Crucial same speed but 1TB are often on sale at £70-80. This is indeed good at under £50, but not more than that.

    Yes, right now. But SanDisk (which is WD), Samsung and Crucial same specs and double the storage are often £70-80. Ignore the RRP, this is a good price regardless.
