These are so flimsy, mine broke with me hardly ever using it. The LB trigger went without any warning.

I've had happen to all my xbox series x controllers never on my xbox one controllers.
Basically there's a plastic peg support that snaps. Can buy a replacement shoulder buttons for a couple quod and takes 5 minutes to replace

Mine got broken just last week and as l don't play that much l just borrowed my daughter's as l wouldn't pay full price but now The Microsoft Store has these at £43.99 Inc postage, so l used £35 of Microsoft points I'd collected since the New Year and its actually cost me just £8.99 and saved a drive to the shops!

Check your warranty on your handsets in your Microsoft account. My son's broke and it was still within warranty , filled out the online form, a postage label was emailed to me for free and was repaired and posted back out to me for free. Any controllers you get add to your Microsoft account by inputting the serial number behind the batteries. Discovering this saved me having to buy a new handset.

Great offer but there must be something else for less than a pound to buy online to qualify for the £5 discount code.

I use a £5 Bluetooth adapter I got from Amazon. Had no issues connecting my Xbox one controller to my pc with it. Works fine

I prefer the Ds5 pad. It's lighter and no batteries required. The xbox pad is good. But Sony are better in my experience
I use them on ps5 and pc. (edited)

I don’t see the lighter aspect as being an advantage. The Xbox controller feels more well made and substantial in your hands, especially the elite.

Stick Drift after couple months with hardly any use; Why are older controllers lasting better.

Yep. I've noticed that. Left drift stick failure in 3rd gamepad in about 2 years. Rubbish.

Anyone getting buttons not regsistering properly? Y button over or under registers
    Just like the video below:

Yes I have it with the A button. Sometimes it just doesn't register at all. Particularly bad if you have to hold the button down for any reason, it will just stop working and you have to press it again. It's very frustrating. I've gone back to using my old Xbox One controller as I never had issues with that.

Need to return my Series S controller back to Amazon due to bad stick drift after not even a month of use, so went ahead and tried the code with a shower curtain rod (as I need it lol)

    Works great!

You can get a second hand elite 2 for not much more seems pointless buying one of these?
    CameronG's avatar
    CameronG
I’d buy a few things second hand but controllers would not be in that list.

Take a look at how many blokes don’t wash their hands after going to the toilet next time you’re out. And that’s in public, never mind in the privacy of their own home.
