What a deal, don't ship to N.Ireland would have bought it straight away.

Wonder if it's possible to get a price match anywhere? (edited)

I have one of these in the 55" that I use mainly as a big pc monitor. It's really good for the money, I've had no complaints tbh... I paid £480 from Costco about 18m ago and I'd happily buy again for my needs.

My main drivers (as it was going to be a monitor) was viewing angles and sub pixel arrangement. It ticks both boxes and works well.

However... We have OLED for our main TV in the living room and it's a different game altogether. The colours and black levels on the OLED just make it incredible to watch. We have the LG C1 but in the 77", we had the 55" E7 before that. Honestly nothing like it apart from another OLED!

It will come down to what you mainly want it for... Normal everyday TV or text heavy stuff in a well lit room then the Hisense will be fine for the money.

For incredible picture quality that's immersive when watching movies etc then the C1... But it's double the price...

For my main TV in the living room the OLED is worth the money imo, for any other room though the Hisense is fine

This is not the same Tv as the Rtings reviews. This is the much different UK version..... (edited)

Be aware that most reviews for Hisense TVs are based on the US models, the UK versions of many of their TVs are vastly different. They seem to be incredible bargains across the pond but over here it's a different story.

Care to elaborate on how it is a different story?

Anyone looking at rtings or any other reviews have to consider the US models that have been reviewed have better specs than the UK models.

I bought the 65inch version of this tv from Costco last summer for £449 and it is amazing.

I bought this last year and it's excellent. A clear step up from the A6G range...way brighter for HDR.

Note, the UK version features an IPS panel with local dimming. Better for viewing angles than the US version, but worse contrast of course. But the dimming does help.
