    Depends what you want really! It has native apps for most things I use and been enjoying mine since I got it few weeks ago. Traded in so got it for £190 but of course typical they dropped the price!

    No. You used to be able to side load it by all accounts but they are cracking down on that.

    Absolutely as that what makes it a functional fire TV in reality. Mainly as I don’t like touching a screen I’m watching all the time as well as needs cleaning too! For day to day stuff use my voice.

    I've been waiting for the price drop. bought it with remote and a swivel mount that was also on offer.
    Not too concerned about sideloading. I'll have a play with it but all I would sideload would be TV app but I can do that through plex anyway.

    I like it, but the software lets it down massively. It can quite accurately detect who is near it with its camera but that really cool feature is utterly wasted as you can’t make it show different notes, lists or even pictures for each user. It literally recognises you and pops up “For ” then shows the same notes and settings no matter who it is. It’s utterly maddening and infuriates me every day. Such a waste of great tech.

    I would still be another if the price was sub £150 despite this though. House of the future! (edited)
