Yes it is and ever since they switched me over Ive barely been able to have a conversation on my phone and internet drops out constantly. I’ve called them and even whilst speaking to them I can barely get reception to report the issue. Absolute joke, I live in a major city also and its terrible all round. My mate also on O2 has the same issue.

Will this avoid the price increase from April?

Yes... I clicked through and it says from 2024 it will be affected

RPI Adjustments: Each April from 2024 your airtime plan will increase by the Retail Price Index rate of inflation announced in February +3.9%. We’ll give you 30 days’ notice of the exact increase.

Wish I would have read this on Monday. Ordered over the phone and they said esim could be done when it arrived, just arrived today and it's unavailable. Number porting over as we speak. Useless.

i am confused with Virgin. They say they are putting us all on O2, so they signed me with an O2 sim, now they are still flogging Virgin Mobile deals? Someone please explain !!

They are trying to boost their sales numbers by selling you 'Volt' deals that come with an o2 SIM When you recontract your home broadband.

Virgin Mobile is still operational. But in the coming weeks everyone is being migrated over to o2 as well and they are finally closing the Virgin Mobile brand altogether.

1 month contract meaning sim essentially free and you get a £20 gift card on top

    Meaning a £8 - £20 (profit of £12)

Note: it looks like you'd need to stay connected for 3 months to get the gift card.

    From the T&C's:
"Customers who cancel their order, cancel their contract or do not commence their contract within 60 days of purchase will not be eligible for a reward voucher."

They're putting my plusnet up to over £7 (I don't often use phone for calls) thats for 4gb of data and I use texts of course - this looks interesting for only a little more than I was on for a much better data. BUT does it go up after 3 months like so many ? (edited)

if it goes up you can cancel, as an example mine has gone up from 5 quid to 5,79 over 4 years.

Thieves put the cost up to 9 pound a month on the 12gb for 7 pound de because I'm already a virgin customer and I used the same address. How dumb is that. Guess I'll be arguing with o2 customer service instead

Coming to end of my Vodafone contract so looking for cheap SIM only on rolling 30 day contract. Also got broadband with Virgin Media but I think I'd need an O2 SIM to qualify for Volt?

TCB currently doing 12GB for £7 with £12.75 back, so this deal looks a little better if you stay for 90 days or more.

They're also doing the 12gb option via the same link above. That comes with a £15 Amazon card which won't work in conjunction with tcb 🏼

Same here went from three 3⃣ which I was with 5+ years plus. Signal was very very bad not only for data but calls .

    Now I'm with Voda from Mobiles.co.uk deal. 16 quid a month 🔥

They're sim card is terrible since they're no longer piggybacking from EE. Terrible signal for any mobile data use, better off with smarty.
