For those thinking the door in door is a complete gimmick, it actually works very well in that you can grab milk for tea or coffee without opening the main fridge. Good for energy efficiency in the summer!

I have this fridge if anyone is thinking of ordering I had to take off the doors or the fridge to get it through a standard doorway

What’s the difference between this 90 model and the 91 model? And can you get finance on this?

Ah sold out now anyway! (edited)

The 90 model is a plumbed refrigerator, whereas the 91 model is non-plumbed.
The 91 model has a small water tank inside the fridge area to supply water to the water dispenser/ice maker on the left door.
However, I find this setup inconvenient as it takes up space and the water inside the tank tends to run out when I need it.

Ensure that your doorway is wide enough to accommodate the fridge in one piece. If it is not possible, you may need to temporarily dismount the two front doors to move it into the house.

Last year, I purchased the same model from Currys in a different color at a much higher price. Despite requesting door removal before delivery, it was difficult to ask the delivery person to move it into the house. Consequently, I had to arrange a second delivery with several phone calls to Currys to send someone willing to remove the doors.

Other than the delivery issue, the fridge has been working fine. We have had no problems with ice and always use chilled water from the left door. Personally, I use the right glass door area to store milk and different sauces. I can simply knock on the glass to locate the correct sauce and open the door to retrieve it, which helps to minimize temperature loss.

Furthermore, the fridge can be connected to your mobile phone to receive notifications if someone leaves the door open.

That’s a good point. And this thing weighs a tonne. I wonder what the two Panther delivery guys will do once they move it to the house - will they just say it won’t fit though the doorway so can’t put it in the house and leave. Or will they be helpful to take the packaging off and doors off and the lifting/manoeuvring in?

I used to have this style of fridge and it drove me up the wall.
Opted for a ‘French style’ (I think that’s what it’s called) where the fridge is the whole of the top and freezer bottom. I find that a lot better having had both.
None the less, this is a good deal

Bought this Fridge about a year ago now and i must say, its first class - no issues with being plumbed, no issues with ice, normal or crushed - would highly recommend at this price

Can you get these with ice maker as well as water? (Plumbed)

I googled the model number for more info and found another site selling them where it said in the specs that it does crushed and cubed ice, you might want to do more research to double check though.

I wish the contents inside of my fridge was this tidy.
I'd be nervous to have a glass door thats showcases whats inside. (edited)

Deep thought took 7.5 million years to come up with the answer to life, the Universe and everything.

In a mere 65 years LG have rocked up and cracked the ultimate question. “Does the light switch off when you shut the fridge door”.

Kudos LG, kudos to you. All at Samsung bow your heads in shame, pack your bags and go home, for you shall never top this triumph.

Does the light come on without opening the door? I was playing with 1 in store and couldn't see anything in the window without opening the door to turn the light on which made the glass panel pointless

This looks ideal for me, but this is plumbed, and I've seen comments here warning against, although I can't recall reasons. Anyone had experience with plumbed?

I've had a plumbed Samsung fridge with water/ice that I bought second hand four years ago and it's been absolutely fine, I use both quite a lot so I'd imagine if it was tank fed I'd be filling it up quite often so glad I went for a mains plumbed model.

Bought this fridge on Black Friday for around this price and it’s been fantastic, couldn’t recommend more. Food is fresh, space inside is massive and the door gimmick is more helpful than I thought it’d be

I must be unlucky. Have this one and it broke within 8 months. Took them a month to fix. Not impressed with the product or the service.

    Minimum room temperature 16 ºC

Does that seem high, or is that typical? I can think of a few kitchens that would fall foul of that!

How easy is it to plumb the appliance in. I want him to get it from kitchen to conservatory because I'm not sire what steps to follow 🙈

Really easy. They just screw the thin fridge water pipe on to the water outlet and turn on the water isolator or tap on that outlet. You could attach the fridge water pipe yourself. (edited)
