I couldn't find the discount 25 pounds when I check out. Any suggestion, please? My flat is on first floor and I would like the Fridge and Freezer delivered to the room. I couldn't find the installation when I check out. What I would get it delivered to specific room on first floor?
Ok this picture should put the matter to rest: Old A*** is the new C. Old C is the new F. So this Haier is a C (dark orange) in old money, it's 2nd from bottom which isn't at all impressive. AO rates this same model as an A+ in old system. I'm wondering whether Costco made an error putting it a F in the new system. That's 2nd from bottom.
Not worryingly inefficient, they are still between A+ and A++ in the old system, it's just that the new ratings are much higher, nothing usually gets an A to C at the moment where in the old system everything started to get A++ or A+++. The scale has changed, that's all. Roughly, as it's a different system and doesn't fit neatly the same way: G = A F = A+ to A++ E - A++ to A+++ D = A+++ to A++++ C = above old ratngs B = above old ratings A = above old ratings
Here's an example of an E rated one per the new energy labels - but much pricier: https://www.euronics.co.uk/catalogue/refrigeration/fridge-freezers/freestanding-fridge-freezers/samsung-rb34t602eww-60cm-fridge-freezer-white-frost-free/p/245RB34T602EWW
Wrong. For cooling the new range is C to G with F being 2nd from worst. https://energysavingtrust.org.uk/energy-labels-are-changing-heres-what-you-need-to-know/ So this Haier is worryingly inefficient... Or maybe all large fridge freezers are just as bad and this one is average.

This is a great fridge and its often on sale without the drinks dispenser. I like the dispenser as I prefer my chilled water very still and like to give the chance for the fluoride smell to dissipate. Because we had radiator pipes in the way, my fridge is on a 6 inch platform which is great as I hated bending for low freezer draws. This would not work for short folks though. I can reach the top shelf easily and I am only 5'8
Yes the internal holder does unclip for cleaning. It leaves a small hole going to the outside of the door. I’m sure a small rubber type plug would seal it tho.
Thanks.. that's a good review.. can't you take off the drinks dispenser..? I don't drink child water at all.. so the drink dispenser is pointless for me anyway
I have this exact model. Used the drinks dispenser for around one month before the novelty wore off. Now the water holder just takes up valuable space inside the fridge, wish we didn’t have it. Also the door handles are so low down that everyone opens the fridge by pulling on the side which leaves dirty fingers marks all over it. Apart from these negatives it works great. I would opt for the same model but without the drinks dispenser if I were to buy it again.
Oh I really don’t think your worthy of a stalker...but you know your a fibber (lol)
Ha ha I have a stalker , yes I will spend my precious time looking for emails to prove I bought this bit of tack . Get a life
I appreciate you can’t be on here every minute but between me asking and posting this comment you did find time to answer a question about the oven...but not this? I think in your response I’d be tempted to say now I had one just to prove a point I question you can validate
Bought and returned this exact model . It’s useless. Says it cools to 3 degrees. I monitored it and never went below 8.5 degrees . So my beers never even felt chilled . Sorry I can’t be on every minute to answer you !!!
Sounds like the websites misleading if that's the case then:
Just bought one of these recently and had the same problem - a build-up of ice in the freezer compartment. The problem was that the door seal for the freezer wasn't completely sealing around the whole door - allowing the moist outside air into the freezer whereupon it froze. Once the seal had regained its shape after a couple of days, the problem disappeared. That said, once I'd managed to persuade Samsung Customer Service that the door seal needed replacing - rather than the whole fridge/freezer being returned (to Amazon) and a refund or a replacement. Samsung CS arranged for a new part and a engineer visit. About 10 days after purchase, the Samsung Engineer came with a replacement seal and confirmed that the seal didn't need replacing and that everything was fine. If your fridge/freezer is brand new, contact Samsung CS and claim under warranty. Hope this helps. Don
Had this model for a few years and whilst it looks great, the plastic shelf "lips" break often, and freezer walls have cracked (where the drawers inserts, so maybe can't hold the weight of a fully stacked one) causing ice build up... Also had a Samsung washing machines power cable catch fire recently :/ No problems in the first 3 years, though.
With this being HUKD, I geuinely can't tell if this is sarcasm anymore
I have the version with the water dispenser and it's so noisy. We hoped it would quieten down over time but it's getting worse, it's 7 months old. We also have a lot of frost building up in the freezer now. It does look nice and has a lot of space I'm just not convinced it's going to last very long and given the non existent support I've had from customer services for my Samsung mobile I don't hold out much how for getting it fixed.
Agree been looking. It’s almost like a range refresh is due or imminent.
If you watch closely none of the American style fridges are, only classic single door ones fall somewhat high in the new scale
It’s not that efficient according to the new Standards from match 2021.
Don’t have those issues in Scotland - drink straight from the tap Also my kitchen / dinning room is all open plan so suits me to be able to have the fridge anywhere without having to be limited by water source.
For me that defeats the purpose. Filling up the water everyday from the tap means it's also un-filtered water. If you're going to do that just buy a normal fridge and fill up empty bottles of water and use that. The whole purpose, for me, of an american fridge freezer is the capability to have chilled, filtered water on demand (and ice maker) without the faff of going to the tap everyday to re-fill it myself. I guess people like them for the size/capacity also but i was really disappointed when i realised they had changed the mechanics of these fridge freezers. They also only have dual compressors in them these days too. Cheaping out on components and design is why the newer models aren't lasting as long imo
They are very large the added bonus of them pulling out means you can see items more clearly.
Thanks for posting. Your thread has been selected for our Highlights section (highfive)
It is the new energy ratings for 2021. This would’ve been rated A+ on the old scale.
Some very good customer reviews here from Amazon and AO. https://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B08GCV24YP/ref=cm_cr_unknown?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=five_star&reviewerType=all_reviews&pageNumber=1#reviews-filter-bar https://ao.com/product/htr3619fwmp-haier-fridge-freezer-silver-78492-28.aspx?gclid=Cj0KCQjwppSEBhCGARIsANIs4p79KY85VR-mI6edTamxn4zL1uhZxvwsDqeOdjoNLNUhRDAnevos5sEaAvCcEALw_wcB&&ef_id=Cj0KCQjwppSEBhCGARIsANIs4p79KY85VR-mI6edTamxn4zL1uhZxvwsDqeOdjoNLNUhRDAnevos5sEaAvCcEALw_wcB:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!8149!3!484852793918!b!!g!!+htr3619fwmp&gclsrc=aw.ds&&&WT.srch=1&WT.z_MT=Search&WT.z_RTM=Google PPC&WT.z_DT=c&WT.z_KT=Product Code&WT.z_PT=MDA-Cooling&WT.z_CN=Codes - Fridge Freezers - API - BROAD&WT.z_AG=Haier - HTR3619FWMP_PI&WT.z_KW=+htr3619fwmp&WT.z_AT=Fridge Freezer&WT.z_MAT=b&utm_medium=search&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=codes - fridge freezers - api - broad|haier - htr3619fwmp_pi&utm_term=sku|broad&utm_content=kwd-950868657785
Despite the bad reviews above, I can only tell about my experience. I've had this for a few years now and it's been great. Solid fridge, doors feel solid, takes a bashing as it's continuously opened and slammed shut numerous times a day and it's still going strong. Looks good too. Yes, the likes of LG, Samsung etc are better but much more expensive too. This in my opinion is a good mid-range fridge, if you're cash strapped.
It's interesting that the Hisense fridges only offer 2 year limited parts warranty, whereas LG and Samsung offered 10 years on the compressor. Expect this to be linked with the lifespan of components.
Absolutely TERRIBLE brand. I would never pick a Chinese owned company over a Samsung or Siemens after experiencing 3 breakdowns within warranty and ultimately claiming a full refund via a grueling legal processs. Terrible customer service, terrible engineering and truly a horrid ownership experience overall. Stick with LG, Samsung, SMEG, Siemens, Bosch, Neff, Miele, Electrolux, AEG etc.
