    They are RUBBISH.
You can't do Wifi Call, I had lots of problems sending text to people, some they never received my texts, WhatApp calls were all time breaking.
Call customer service several times to resolve the problem and never happen.

They are brilliant for me. On month 6 for 1p and not a single problem. WIFI calling and VoLTE works fine, roaming excellent in France and Germany last year.

    Remember with Lebara:
    - Wifi calling doesn't work for many people. I have an iPhone and for me and plenty of others, it just not turn on.
    - They have close to 0 customer service. If your Wifi calling won't turn on, you are on your own.
    - For me at least near London, the signal is much much worse than O2. It could be the exact same as Vodafone but that is still poor then. Especially annoying when Wifi calls dont work

I'll be leaving them after less than a month.

WiFi calling works for many people, including iPhone users.
Customer service is no worse than with other networks.
For me at least near London, the signal is much better than with O2.

Moral of the story is: don't listen to others. Give it a try and judge for yourself.

Anyone have any idea roughly how long they take to get the SIM card to you? Want to get this for a holiday and then cancel after 1 month!

Usually within a couple of days.

How do i re-new rolling contract? Upon topup in the plan option there isnt one which was originally purchased
    Mooney_70's avatar
    Mooney_70
Not sure what you mean? Once your SIM is activated the plan will auto renew every 30 days. You'll pay the cheap offer price for the first few months whichever deal your on. Then it will revert to the full price of the plan. So to avoid paying full price and get another cheap offer just port out and back in again if you want to keep the same number. If you turn off auto renew in error before your cheap offer price has ended then it will revert to the full price of the plan. So only turn off auto renew when you are wanting to leave. If you add any top ups to your plan these are to pay for any extras not included in your plan. As your normal plan will be paid by the card you added or paypal. So using Airtime Rewards is no go with Lebara to pay your normal mobile bill.

Can you switch to something like this if you are already with Lebara or do you have to get a new sim card and transfer your number etc?
    Mooney_70's avatar
    Mooney_70
You can have up to 4 Sims on your Lebara account. But if you want to keep the same number you'll have to port out then back in again. I've done it a few times with different deals £1.99, 1p and I'm currently on a £1.49 deal for 12GB.

Been with them for a week after leaving Vodafone who they piggy back off. The reception has been identical to the Vodafone service. I actually think I have had reception in a few places I never got with Vodafone. Is that even possible if they're piggy backing? Got this deal after a few increases over the last 3months with Vodafone nearly doubled my charges. Was hesitant at first and was checking the internet for all info on Lebara. The usual good/bad reviews that all providers receive. Made up I trusted my own thoughts and took the plunge. Excellent service.

In spite of the favourable price for only initial 3 months, this is a very good deal overall because of the cashback and 60% reduction for first three months followed by good data allowance at good price. However it is important to find out if TCB possibly gets paid only if you continue after 3 months 🔥🔥 (edited)

I'm sure 3 months is ample time for the cashback to become payable?

Do they increase the prices every April like other providers?. I miss the days of GiffGaff where it was always the same price
    Mooney_70's avatar
    Mooney_70
No they aren't subject to the price increases like the major networks. So that's another reason to use the networks that piggy back off the majors. Providing you can get a decent signal/speed in the area where you live. (edited)

Weird, when I'm logged out of Topcashback the £12 cashback offer is there, as soon as I log in the cashback amount drops to £10.20

    Why is that?

Perhaps it's showing cashback for a premium account and you're logged into a normal account

Can you cancel at any time?it s easy to cancel?

And can you activate the sim in like a month? (edited)
    Mooney_70's avatar
    Mooney_70
Yes, it's easy to cancel at anytime you just turn off the auto renew feature. And officially you have 90 days to activate your SIM when it arrives. Your second payment is taken 30 days after you activate the SIM.

Who do people use to port out to and then back again - what is the easiest way? Already with Lebara and my deal is coming to and end and will probably get this deal.
    Mooney_70's avatar
    Mooney_70
I've used 3 and Asda to temporarily port out to. Start the process on a Monday and you should be done by late Tuesday or Wednesday. Always wait till the following day to get your PAC code from your temporary network.

I have a couple months left on my 94p/month 15gb deal. Is it bad I'm holding out for another 6 months cheapo? I've not seen it since I took this one out, back end of last year!

Is anybody else getting this? On my newly activated uswitch sim it doesn't state there is a discounted price (as Lebara offer Sims usually do) It only shows my next payment date, which I presume will be £6.95, instead of £2.78, even though it states uswitch exclusive plan.

With previous Sims it always states for example

"Your plan is charged at £(discounted price) for the next 2 months. From 30 April 2023, standard price of £6.90/month will apply"

This time there is no explanation like this.
