Just be aware, no wi-fi calling on Lyca, which rules them out for me.

With their recent move to EE away from O2 they have publicly said that WiFi calling is now planned, but no commitment on dates.

hang on, aren't they doing unlimited data for £10 ? so why pay £15 for 200GB?

Would never go with lyca again. I fuming. Got a deal from here for me and 2 family members. Bank card expired so I tried to add new card before renewal. App and website are barely useable but I finally managed it and set the d new bank card as default payment

. It then gets declined for renewal because it tried to take payment from the old deleted bank card

Contacted lyca to resolve this and got told tough you now lose the deal as you should have sorted it before auto renewal. Explained that I did and their website and app are useless. They ended like chat and now can't speak to anyone.

This is 6 months, while £10 is for 3 months.
    That's the only difference here.
    Thanks

I'm not sure they do use EE?
I've currently got an ID mobile SIM and a Lyca SIM in my phone and only have signal on ID (edited)

Can I keep my number when moving to lyca? And how much notice do I have to give if leaving? Thanks

Dear Customer, you can very well keep your number by porting to Lycamobile from another network provider. Please find the information at lycamobile.co.uk/en/…er/. When you order a sim card with the plan, it needs to be activated within 30 days from the date of sim card order.

Hi, I see the terms and conditions for this do not allow tethering or use in a router. I thought tethering etc had to be allowed in the UK? Is use in a router permitted?
    Thanks.

Lyca is a roaming service? I found that data only works if I turn on international data roaming, while I ordered the sim to UK and I am in UK? How is that?

Dear Customer, please be informed that it is necessary for the DATA roaming to be tuned on for using mobile internet in certain Smartphones. We can assure you that you will not be charged anything additional for mobile data usages if DATA roaming was on.

I just ported into Lyca 2 days ago, but have incredible big issues with phone calls. The signal while using mobile data its very good. 5G, 4G works great, but phone calls i barely have any network signal to speak with anyone, also when i m on a phone call, my phone changes from 5G to 3G and few minutes after no more mobile data while phone call. I have activated voLTE in settings and also have correct apn settings but no fix for this issue. Can i know if its because of your service? Doesnt not support mobile data while having phone calls? Phone is a iPhone 14 pro max
