Just found this deal when searching for a direct link to see whether an existing offer had expired. Seems good if you like Lyca/want to give them a try, and get decent EE coverage in your area.

Don’t ask me when it expires, as I said I merely searched on Google and discovered it.

    Decent deal have some heat.

21GB can be had on Lebara for £7.95 longer term, but good price for an EE based option.

If they are important to you check the included roaming & international calling destinations - for example, whether Switzerland & Australia respectively are included seems to vary based on the tariff!

Uswitch do 21gb on Lyca for £7.45, so its cheaper for EE coverage than Lebara/Vodafone. 3 months at £3.18 too.

Does anyone know if this would work in a teltonika router as a mobile hotspot?

I saw a few comments saying Lyca doesn’t work in routers. Other networks do though.

‘I’m currently having issues with them as they won’t respond to my query. Even when phoning the number given and trying to choose an option (none for my query), there is no way of speaking to a real person. I was wanting an eSIM on pay as you go which they say they do, but it doesn’t show up as an option. I’ve just sent them a second email so we shall see! I’m actually losing confidence if they are any good now even if they do respond if it takes all this to get a reply.

I'm having a similar problem, it's telling me to top up when I have already paid , They don't answer the phone or answer chat.

    I have an EE SIM
How could I switch to Lyca while keeping the phone number?

Text PAC to 65075, then I think you fill in a form on Lyca’s website with your old number and pac code.

Just noticed if you add this to a dual SIM phone ALL WiFi calling is disabled (Idmobile on other SIM). When the Lyca SIM is removed the WiFi option returns. Anyone else noticed this (Poco F4 GT)?

I have Lyca this as an eSIM and Three as my main sim. I can get wifi calling on the Three sim but not the Lyca sim. I did Google it and some people said that Lyca don't offer wifi calling but not sure if that's correct

I’m confused about tethering as one section on their terms it says you can used your handset as a personal hotspot, then another it says about not using it for tethering?

If I wanted to let the kids use the internet on their tablet when out and about, can I not do this with Lyca via my phone?

I have had a lyca sim for about four days and have been using tethering all the time with no issues (on a 30 day rolling contract)

Can anyone help with a technical question? Had my Lyca sim a few days..

On my call forwarding options (forward all calls, forward when unanswered, when unavailable etc.) they are all set with the correct number, apart from forward all calls, which when I try to set it says network or SIM error. Any ideas appreciated, I've tried Cust Serv.

If you stop paying after the first 3 months does the number still work (receive calls and texts) or does it automatically stop working?

Cold from me, without warning I have no signal at all since last weeks change to ee. How they have got away with this is beyond me.

You get a cold look from me because you haven’t decided to now move where EE has good signal.

Been using Lyca for 6 months. 85p/month for 6GB and unlimited calls/texts, increasing to £5.90/month thereafter on a rolling contract I can cancel at anytime. Got it via a deal on MSE. Transferred my number and have had very little issue with the service. Can’t go wrong.

Cold from me as well, only bad experiences with these people. From straight lying through their front teeth to blocking my number to pay for their incompetence.
And all of these after paying 7 years for 2 numbers.

You also get a cold look for not moving around the UK to find an area to move to with the best EE reception!!! How dare you!

Since the change to EE service, the signal is abysmal in my home location.

I'm also trying to find out if the Canaries are included under "Spain" for roaming?

Their telephone support appears to be hopeless as well!

I really don't remember it being this bad, a few months back?
    echo06's avatar

Why would they not be included? A it's the EU and B it's Spain

Just off the phone with Lyca, after a roughly 20 minute wait.

Apparently the postcodes, where the SIM cards were received, without any problem, are now invalid.

Data should work in the Canary Islands...

The woeful signal strength is supposedly being escalated to "technical" and I'll get a text in 24 hours to give me an update.

I don't think I could have spoken to a less enthusiastic Filipina on other end of the call!

Have put the sim in registered but it is asking me to buy a bundle or top up when I have already paid. I have zero balance. How does the bundle I have bought get added to the sim?
