sorted byPixel density is not a problem and I sit pretty close to it
I also know plenty of people are perfectly happy with 27" 1080p monitors, and to be honest it wouldn't bother me that much.
My parents have a 32" 1080p monitor, even that isn't as annoying as I thought it would be. (edited)
- Fact of life, easy to upgrade then to go back down for some.
in fight: good monitor, good brand, High hz.
and cracking price for a budget user.
Good find (good supported product ha) op (edited)

(Great website to see specs and tests from experts)
Thanks
would recommend!
What you can do is buy one of those hubs/docking stations which you connect via USB c and they can split the signal to 2/3 monitors. The monitor in this deal doesn't have usb c so it's either hdmi or displayport
The only downside to this is once the signal is split you're limited to only 60hz. I've tried this for work/productivity but found that I'd rather stick to high refresh monitor + laptop screen. If you're OK with 60hz it will work fine. (edited)
That's what I like to see.
I tried hard to justify a 1440/165 and it was just really hard to drive. 1080p is still decent imo.
Of course, AMD and Nvidia had hoped by now every ambitious gamer would be at 4K, but gamers were far too smart to make that mistake- which has blown up the pricing of everything associated with good 1440p gaming- monitors, mid-range GPUs etc.
Look at the price and specs of this monitor, and tell me again why any VA monitors are made that target gamers?
I think you'll find 1080p is still the most used resolution worldwide.
If you're not liking 24@1080p, your not gonna like 27@1080p much the same.
This is not true it IS that different. Simple angular resolution and PPI clculations say otherwise.
I decided to stay on 24" for 1080p and got an ASUS TUF monitor instead.
GAMING on 1080p isnt the problem, its that as a desktop, 1080p on 27 is god awful when you are used to higher res
And like you said, people that are used to 1440p might not like it, those still using 1080p (which is still a LOT of prople) will not care much.
but for a budget gaming monitor it’s fine
lcd still not as good as cry for clarity and motion
BUT
...watching 1080p videos on 1440p sucks- they are worse quality that on a native 1080p display... my solution - one 1080p monitor, one 1440p monitor...
Walk the line
Also you wouldn’t have a remote so could be annoying at night.
would recommend getting a small tv unless size is really an issue
Amazing price regardless, seems perfect for kids that have a Series S.
Now £153 which is still quite a good price
