sorted byOne HUKD'er got a faulty monitor (lines across the screen), Dell refused to honour the warranty claiming it had suffered 'physical damage', despite photo's sent by the user not showing any physical damage at all...
Not good.
Now a 'repair' under warranty is a different matter- but the sane consumer would DEMAND a replacement/money back not repair if the item fails within the legally protected period.
The advantage of buying from big companies like Dell is that they ALWAYS obey the law if only the punter knows their rights, and ensures Dell knows they are dealing with an informed customer. Sadly it is true their call centre drones may well try to pull a fast one over customers who do not know their rights.
I'd probably re-order this 32" if I didn't have the Iiyama 43" misprice still on order.
