    I bought this last week, when it was selling for £238. It arrived in pretty good condition (some slight scuff marks on top cover) and ready to use out of the box as they claim. Got this instead of the ThinkPad i5 because of the newer processor and larger screen. Display image is a bit washed out, but I only need it for browsing and word processing etc so no big problem. All in all, pleased with both the seller and the item although I haven't put the machine through its paces yet.

    Windows 11 has been significantly upgraded and improved since launch. No reason to use Windows 10 anymore.

    CPU is 2 years newer on this and perform a little better than the i5-8250U, not that much in it. T480 is probably better built. Dell has a crap screen but it is 15.6" instead of 14". Thinkpads are my preference but I also like newer tech. I think I'd go for a T480 but one with an i7-8650U.

    Any good for Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite? For a 9 year old? Doesn’t need to be anything special just able to play games at a decent standard (edited)

    Horses for courses. This is clearly for office use. Great for someone as a WFH laptop with additional display. £200 isn’t a lot of money these days for a computer screen keyboard and mouse. Only issue is really the 256GB primary drive which hopefully should be easily swappable to larger capacity
