Anyone know if these are interchangeable?

If I have games saved for launch on Series X can I also access them on Series S via the SSD?
    Thanks in advance. (edited)

Just take it this out and put it into whichever console you want. You can use older hard drives for older games too in same way.

cant believe no one has cloned these yet and cheaper versions aren't flooding the market via Chinese websites.

M$ proprietaryhardware encryption algorithms. Similar to M$ wireless keyboards where the dongle and keyboard have unique encryption to prevent any sniffing attacks and if you loose the dongle the keyboard is of no use as you cannot buy which will sync with the keyboard. I would say better security but not as versatile as Logitech unifying eco system.

I think this may be being phased out? I noticed Argos stopped selling this capacity

Voted hot. I got one of these in December last year for £110 so good deal. (edited)

Yeah, it’s annoying as you have to uninstall and move to the internal drive to play the game. That’s my understanding at least. With my PS4, it plays happily with the external drive.
