    Anyone know the warranty/return conditions buying from france?

    You will pay customs fees dealing with France. After Brexit the DDP Incoterms is a sh%fest. As long as you don't need to send the drive back under warranty you're good if you do then this will be a bad deal.

    Maybe 2 years ago, the 990pro with cashback is a much better proposition (or any other Gen 4 drive) (edited)

    I disagree, it's 30% more again, and unless you need the gen 4 speeds (and have a compatible pc/laptop) this is gonna be better value.
