    Are these drives any good?

Read they only have an endurance of 120 TBW?

Kioxia tend to understate the TBW's on their drives.
The numbers are theoretical anyway so you have to take them with a pinch of salt.
It's a TLC NAND drive which matters more than what TBW they decided to give it.

Had one for a while, no problems with it after 2 years use.
It's now being sold to CEX this week (along with a bunch of other smaller drives), lol.

That said, it's not much of a deal, it's the going price for many 480GB-512GB drives now. (edited)

For an extra quid I'd rather have the Crucial one though...
    Heat added all the same.

    Why?
What makes the Crucial any better than this? (I'm speaking as a big fan of the Crucial BX/MX drives by the way).
Both DRAM-less TLC NAND SSD's, they'll perform exactly the same and neither is more reliable than the other. (edited)
