There's loads of good deals for VPNs out there but I always find myself coming back to surfshark: even though it can be a little more expensive. It's just rock solid reliable, always worked for me when I'm abroad for catching UK stuff. I've used it for years now and It's worth that extra for me anyways. Good find OP!
Edit: by coincidence I'm currently in Gdansk, Poland. In the last half hour using surfshark I've managed to place a couple of bets with paddy power, and downloaded an episode of the last of us on nowtv. (edited)

Surfshark is a bottom tier VPN provider marketed as a top one with a slick app.

Actual VPN functions are terrible.

Uses lots of 'virtual hosts' which is jargon for 'not connecting to the actual country you select'

Been using Surfshark for a number of years now, never had any issues and the unlimited devices is perfect for all the families, Fire-sticks, PCs, mobiles…Also, the kill switch option makes sure I don’t accidentally go onto the internet unprotected.

I paid £58 for 2 years, but that was 6 weeks ago. I must admit, I'd been with nord, changed to surfshark and it is actually has a noticeable quicker connection and is easier to configure to allow apps through (banking etc)

I have an inquiry about cashback sites, if the VPN has its own sale running like it usually does how does the TCP/Quidco sites work, ive never used cash back sites before.

I just done a quick search and NordVPN is 76.5% cashback so £120 for 2 years I would get £91.80 back? Also if it doesn't track is it possible to cancel the purchase or does it usually take longer than 30 days to track?

Someone kindly lets me use theirs, agree that it’s very reliable. Can’t get anywhere near the cashback rates suggested though - only 35-40% for me from Quidco/TCB. Can get ‘save 80% and earn 80%’ through work as a new customer though.

Might be worth waiting until current 40% off Quidco deal ends today/tomorrow and see what Quidco offer Tuesday onwards. I bought end of October, paid £43.37 to Surfshark and got £41.20 cashback from Quidco. Pay out was 5th January, so just a couple of months for cashback.
