Better to use a standardised extract such as :

    Curowhite
    Longvida
    Meriva

Thank you OP for sharing. I managed to pick some up from New Malden High Street. Also worth noting that the 'Superdrug Turmeric 1000mg 240 Tablets' have also been reduced to £4.64 instore but these don't appear to be available online.

Not available for me despite trying on the website fir at least ten minutes!

I’m currently taking Tumeric and black pepper one a day capsules! 500mg Tumeric and 10mg black pepper! I think I paid in home bargains £2.99 for 150 capsules!

If you are going to take tumeric supplements take it with the black pepper.

And you need a curcumin 95% extract. not regular tumeric powder.

Thanks OP. There were 2 in stock at my local store, so added something else to get the cheapest free.

Update: My order has been cancelled and amount refunded. (edited)

Way over priced, especially for vit D... And they don't even mention the dose -which I'm sure is illegal !
Get a year's worth at sealions for a fiver !
    GiJimmyyo's avatar
10 micrograms is stated as dose.

I buy from the asian shops the real thing, only issue is a bit of work scrubbing - upside is there is no additivies so the calorie count like all root vegetables is way down like 10 times less calories

50158510-sCodc.jpgSnap 😁 but it's so potent it'll literally stain anything it touches

Even that's about 5x the price of getting a bag from an Asian supermarket. Turmeric tablets are an absolute rip off. Worse than £5 bottles of olive oil eat drops.
  11. fessybear's avatar
Just eat some dhal, it will have loads of turmeric, black pepper and oil which is needed for maximum absorption 😜

Can't order, shows stock, but then when check out it disappears.

Sometime eat curry, no need to take this supplement.
    brk96's avatar
That'll be a weird tasting curry at these strengths

What's not been mentioned is, tablets won't stain your teeth to buggery. :-)
    Manauth's avatar
Which is why I use a toothbrush, and vinegar if you want to clean your toothbrush

    Interesting - thank you

Turmeric has a compound called curcumin as its major component. Curcumin boosts the production of semen testosterone
  25. Orange_swan's avatar
    Won't check out
  26. Orange_swan's avatar
Does it say if it is shootable for vegetarians or vegans ?
    garuff's avatar
You mean like break the capsule open, tip into a bent teaspoon, heat over a candle, pour into a syringe and have at it?
This whole veganism thing has really got out of hand!
  27. mart321's avatar
I was under the impression turmeric supplements needed to have black pepper in to be properly absorbed by the body.
    fessybear's avatar
Also needs a fat, so traditionally we'd consume it with food i.e. curry or with a glass of milk.
And absolutely a pinch a black pepper too
