I’ve got 3 Orient Bambino’s from a couple of years back when they were considerably cheaper to buy. Quality is really good, although I’m aware a lot of people change out the leather straps as they’re not the most long lasting. Mine have been fine, but they’re not a daily wear for me due to my work environments. Movement is nice but the accuracy varies - I have 1 that loses/gains about 1-2 secs/day (can’t remember which way) and others maybe 5-6 secs/day, so I’d say pretty good, particularly at this price point.
Mineral glass is a downside I’d say as it can scratch very easily.
I’d highly recommend Orient as a brand, as the value is pretty unmatched.
The following is worth a look too -I have it & it looks amazing in the flesh..

So now Orient officially sell in the UK they plan to do some UK only versions - I wonder what they will look like... :/

    How do you know this?

Back in at 135 - tempted and I'm not a watch guy. How does this compare to the Seiko presage cocktail watches? I've been eyeing up the Irish coffee/mojito one for some time.

The movement is comparable, both haven't got Sapphire. Both are equal when it comes to build quality. But Presage obviously looks a lot more expensive and is a lot more expensive.

Not dissimilar to the Smiths (?) one Morse wears in Endeavour, although that has the numbers at 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.
Definitely a classic 50s, 60s style, with one problem, at 41mm, it's too big, should be 38mm max. (edited)

    Too big for you.

There is a 38mm Bambino, but it tends to be more expensive.

Great price for what it is but don't lie the look. Looks like 80 year old should wear it.

    Lovely looking watch. Good find

Those Festina ones also aren't a fraction of the quality of an Orient.

Is this a good brand? I know nothing about watches but got an old automatic from 60s passed down to me

Japanese, very popular and well known. The king of value for money I would say.

    This or cadisen c1032?
    Rumcajs_9's avatar
Specwise, Cadisen is better with NH35 and Sapphire (but the movement here is comparable) so its mostly down to personal preference. (edited)
