Beware that the Q20 noise cancelling doesn’t work in wired 3.5mm mode , so useless for an airplane if you use the inflight entertainment. They hide this fact and only admit if you use support. They do however sound great and good noise cancelling for the money when used as Bluetooth.

Can't stand the low resolution screens on planes so never use them. Had mine for years, didn't even realise it has wired mode till now!

Got the Q20+'s.Sound quality isn't quite as accurate but they're not catering to audiophiles by any stretch. Excellent headphones and I paid £69.99, having used the Soundcore Life 2's for over 5 years, with the ear-cups having worn significantly (commensurate to my poor treatment of the headphones sometimes when removing them).
They are better than the Q45's by a mile, they sound better, they're more comfortable, they're noise cancellation is the same. I remember getting the 45's thinking that, for the £30 surplus (at the time I bought them), they'd blow me away in some way or another considering how good the Q20+'s are, but they were astonishingly poor.
I've also had the Bose Q45's, the B&O H95's (yes they're extremely expensive), the AirPods Max's, and the Bowers and Wilkins P2; they all (apart from the Bose) sounded great, but are very expensive and not (apart from the Bose to an extent) comfortable at all. The latter 3 are all heavy and I just can't use them for even an hour without it becoming noticeably uncomfortable. On the other hand, these much much cheaper Anker headphones, get the job done well, whilst being comfortable even after a good 5 hours. i returned all for reference.
Q20 and Q20+ are both headphones built to last a long time, so highly recommended.

I had the Tribit Xfree headphones. Sound quality was amazing but the build quality is terrible. The headband cracked in 3 parts from the stretch over my head. I bought these to replace them for their reputation in the same price bracket and the sound is noticeably worse, the bass is over-emphasised, but the build quality is much better.

How are these for running with?

Have no problem with stability but find the wind is quite noisy as have found with any over ear headphones, I put my hoodie up if to bad in the winter. Quality wise I cannot fault them, use for music, podcasts and watching TV as older hearing is not what it was lol. Noise cancelling on transport is very good.

Can anyone compare their noise cancellation with more premium ones like Bose please?
    tonywy's avatar
Received these yesterday and tested them against my son's Bose QC35. If the Bose cancel noise by 90% these are probably at 70%.

I won't comment on the sound quality because my ears have become accustomed to AKG K702 open-backed headphones and I much prefer their sound to any closed-back headphones.

The Q20 have a bass boost function but it doesn't work. In NC mode it merely cuts the top and mid ranges to produce a boomy, muffled bass so you would be better to EQ the sound source if it's extra bass you want.

These are very good and worth the money! Had mine for 2+ years and still going strong!

Got the Q30s and they're incredible, worth every penny.
    snappycat's avatar
Ditto. Mislaid them the other day and nearly bought another pair... fortunately found them buried in a pile of washing Just noticed amazon is now offering a 25% voucher on the q30's (obviously, account specific) so those ain't bad for £60 either.

Q30 is the one that gets talked about in this brand
    sanmarinojR's avatar
Exactly , it's the only one with a decent speaker if you like natural sounding headphone ( with the EQ from Oluv of course ) , but it also strikes the right balance between price and features. The noise cancelling is great .

why when i wear headphones do they always shape my head like Herman Munster? do these sit flat against the shape of the head?

    mine sort of look like:

I always think these type of headphones look naff on who ever wears them. I just stick to small in ear ones that still sound great and have incredible battery life. (edited)

How's the NC compared to the Bose QC45?

    Not even close

    adam.yacub's avatar
Can you test the noise cancellation please? How much does it block noise?
  11. PC59's avatar
Seeing all the comments about great sound quality on these I can only say one thing, bless your ignorance on sound quality and I am jealous you can be happy with a 38£ pair of headphones
    blizeH's avatar
Great, isn't it? Why pay more when you can be delighted with something like this, win! About to order some myself
  12. DBO187's avatar
My son just got these for his birthday and I was shocked at just how good the sound quality is
  13. Yellowfin's avatar
    Thanks. Ordered for my daughter.

Don't see any offer as the price has dropped to £35 and drops quite often. Just install keepa price tracker to monitor price history

Does work. Been using them on a plane for a while. Unless they've changed. Got mine about 2 years ago.
    Oggie's avatar
They did a firmware update on all new versions and it’s disabled it !
  17. tonywy's avatar
    Thanks. Bought them. (edited)

Have them for many years, thousands of hours wearing, mainly for Teams calls and music while working. Great for it price, very reliably and very strong Bluetooth connection. Recently changed earpads, identical for Q30 for under tenner on Amazon and they look and sound just as good as 4 years ago.
  19. djp2k8's avatar
Shame they have leather on them
  20. JackStow's avatar
how's the mic quality on these? thinking on getting one for work and teams meetings with ppl talking around me all the time. I've been using a Samsung buds live for a while, but the mic seems to be picking up someone else's voice instead of mine all the time
    mlekopan16's avatar
Have you bought this by any chance and checked in the office? Or went with something different.
I am thinking about something to the office as well
  21. hbo86's avatar
Guess these won't work with ps5?
  22. Paul_f1's avatar
How do they compare to the tronsmart q10?
    medicgaming123's avatar
Q20's sound considerably better, and the noise cancellation is existent (as opposed to non existent on the Q10's).
  23. Westindieman's avatar
The reviews of sound quality would be a winning yes from me but seeing the reviews on hairline cracks and breaking would trump that. I want my items to last, even at this price. (edited)
  24. stovy's avatar
Would these be better than JBL 510/710bt?
  25. Tim_Thompson's avatar
I have these and I think they are excellent, tempted to buy a second pair
  26. MrHT's avatar
I've used mine today for the first time, used it in the gym. Very pleased with them. Would definitely recommend it
  27. GeorgioT's avatar
Just arrived here. For the money you cant get better sound quality
    GeorgioT's avatar
the noise cancellation seems pretty good compared to my broken momentum 3's. had a phone call also and the caller wasnt able to ehar any traffic even though i was in the middle of a busy dual carriageway. genius
  28. jjam's avatar
Got these at Christmas and really like them. The battery lasts for ages and the sound cancelling is very good. I use them on the train and they are excellent for music and watch tv/films

Anyone have issues connecting the headphones to the app? My sister bought a pair and it won’t find them in both iOS and android Soundcore app. Pairs to the Bluetooth no problem. (edited)
    tonywy's avatar
It seems the Q20+ Q30 and Q35 are supported by the Soundcore app but not the Q20.

There's a list of supported devices on Google Play

Very happy with these, but have to manually connect in iPhone settings each time?
