Tempted, but then I remind myself there are free emulators to recreate that dose of short-lived fun.

On the one hand, it seems like a good price...

On the other, it's a lot of money for something that'll get used for no more than an hour and then collect dust for the next 5 years.

I think its a good price....

it includes a competition pro-like usb joystick which is probably worth £20+ alone

you could run a rpi emulator, but a rpi would cost you £35 ? if you could find one...you would also need a case

you could also run the vice emulator on your PC for free but that still needs you to buy a £20 joystick and setup the emulator

Do the games take 45 minutes to load. If not then I'm out.

The loading screens were part of the fun

Been looking for something like this for my elderly father, but one with a golf game of some sort on it.

When I was younger he used to play on a mega drive golf game and he loved it.

Bought a cheap one out of b&m but was extremely poor and almost unplayable.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated
    Thank you

there seem to be some reports of NTSC units being sold in PAL regions

the amazon pic looks like a PAL unit (pegi 7), but when you look at the bopster web site it looks like NTSC (pegi e)...see bottom left of the box

don't know if PAL vs NTSC makes a difference...reports that the menu allows you to switch between the two, but don't know if this affects game running speeds or just the display output

Can anyone remember the game with the ball bouncing in space I think it was and you had to collect stars or something then rigorously shake the joystick to make it go in certain directions? Bugged me for 30 years that I can't remember.
