  • Outdoor heating
  • Comes with Safety tool & rain lid
  • When lifting or moving this appliance, never drag it; seek assistance as necessary. As this appliance has components made from steel and/or cast iron, the surface will age and develop surface rust over time once it is exposed to natural weather elements. This is to be expected and does not constitute an appliance fault. Never fuel the fire to an extent that flames reach the flue of this appliance. This appliance must never be used with the lid fitted (if supplied). For safety reasons, it is recommended to inspect this appliance before each use for signs of fatigue and damage. Be sure to replace any appliance that has reached the end of its natural life. If this appliance is left outside a suitable cover must be used, once it has cooled completely. This appliance could mark or stain a patio; to protect against this place onto a separate patio slab or brick base

Poor reviews in terms of paint coming off. Maybe this needs seasoning?

Yep. They think you can get to temperatures close to the sun's surface before reading instructions. Also they don't cover it to prevent moisture landing on it when not in use.

Want something for the outdoors but this or a Fire Pit? Which is better?

A few friends/ family have fire pits and every time you end up getting smoke billowing in your face and clothing.

At least the base bowl is cast so will last year's, but chimney will probably last 1 or 2 seasons depending on how you keep it out the damp weather

I actually have this one from about 20 years ago, chimney is starting to rot but the cast bottom is still as good as new.
The new ones cast bottoms are not nearly as heavy as the old ones.

Why not upcycle and get a washing machine drum. I've had one for ten years and it's perfect and doesn't rust. My neighbours have followed me and street parties are awash with them . Loads of ebay
