How can something be overpriced at any price?
So if it was 1p, that would be overpriced
  5. 19DembaBa19's avatar
These used to be 25X25g for £2.50

Can't beat the cheese and onion taste.. I remember how the pack sizes used to be 48g. And now it's 20g. Price used to be 6p a bag and now 99p! How times have changed...
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
Pringles and Doritos used to be £1 for 200g, now they're £2.25 for a pack of crumbs!

Anyone noticed (or is it me), that these were same price at Tesco with 22 bags in a bit back?...I even recollect they had 24 in at one bit...it's a joke now...bit like the smaller bags of snacks I see...used to have 6, now got five?
    MonaB79's avatar
Yes I bought the 22 pack from Sainsburys using smart shop a couple of months ago and now they’re 20 pack!

ridiculous how companies get away with mini packets, same cost.
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
But they're not the same cost.
These are 25g multi pack bags, they've always been this size, and cost less than full size bags.

Or do you mean the contents of the box, gradually dropped from 24 to 22 to 20 packs? (edited)

It may well be the same price in ASDA and Tesco's but if you don't have Prime and you need something to bump up your items to 25 quid to get free delivery then this is still a good deal.
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
There's now a 3 week wait for these.
Might get them quicker with your next regular grocery shop at Asda, Tesco, Morrisons or Waitrose.

Actually, not many people realise, non Primers can get many items delivered free to an Amazon locker or local delivery hub.
I don't have Prime, but can get these delivered to the shop at the end of my road.
There's no need to make up a £25 order with items I don't need.

Shinkflation took 2 more packets away. Used to be 22 a few months ago for same price. Iceland have boxes of 32 cheaper golden wonder and walkers.

Stop posting crisp deals. Packet in.
    I'll get my coat.

I think we're missing the most important point - it has been raised before but has been ignored by the manufacturer...

Why are Cheese & Onion flavour in the Meaty selection pack??
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
Prawn Cocktail too, stretching the definition of meat.
    Something fishy going on.
  20. footballwidow's avatar
Same price at Morrisons (with card) too (edited)
  21. blahblahblah1234's avatar
Out of stock with a 3 week wait on pre-orders

Crisp packet weights are plummeting. Crapitalism.
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
25g packets have been the same size for 20+ years.
The box size has reduced from 22 packs to 20 packs.
  23. AndrewBhoy's avatar
Bought 4 boxes cos I’m a fat animal and it took another 20p per box off. (edited)
