Good price. Bought 2 with the code and the Motoring Club £5 so came in at £49.50 delivered to home. Hoping that TCB tracks for an extra 3%.
£5 MC code only works on orders over £30, so applying the first 10 % code disables the 2nd £5 one.

What would people recommend for the easiest way to treat the MDF shelves to prevent mould? I bought 4 of these and want to get them protected. Mould is apparently a big issue with these if left in damp areas like my shed.

To soak literally in the used oil taken for free from one of the Fish&Chips shops if you prefer light yellowish colouration when the oil dries off or if tou can get some of the used motor oil for free from Car Repair depot would be the easiest/cheapest options IMHO. You only need to invest one quid in a brush from Poundland and that is about it.
If you do not mind spending a few quids on proper oil-based (water-based if on budget) paint go to your local ScrewFix/Leyland/alike and get one tin.
Use free newspapers for protection of the surface of the work zone)
    Hooe that helps)
    Good luck!

Ah after hesitating for ages I finally bought one last week for £30, I should've waited just a few more days! Pretty simple to set up, have protected the MDF and its loaded up with a fair bit already.

I just built mine. What should I use to protect the shelves?

These are pretty good, I stuck 2 in the garage. The shelves are braced in the centre so the MDF is less likely to bow over time.

I have 2 of these in my outhouse and they're great! Would definitely recommend but maybe treat the wood if in a damp / enclosed area

What should I treat the shelves with? Can you suggest a product? Thanks to any help

If these are the galvanised steel types, use some gloves when making them, some of the edges can be sharp during assembly
