    I'm no expert or sommelier, but would say its a loverly tasting dark red liquid with a fruity taste, that gets you drunk and sleepy! If you like Cabernet Sauvignon or Shiraz, you'll probably like it.

    However if you Google "Merlot taste" youll get results like...

    Flavours commonly associated with Merlot include plum, blackberries, cherries and red fruits. Alternatively, you may experience the sensation of tucking into a delicious fruit-cake with chocolatey notes.

    As a general rule once you’re in 13%+ abv territory you’re looking at a perfectly drinkable red wine. This is 13.5 so you should be fine
