WE MAKE LIFE THAT LITTLE BIT LESS COMPLICATED. When the world takes itself too seriously, you need a wine that doesn’t. Hints of this and notes of that, let’s forget the jargon and cut through the complexity. The simple truth is Jam Shed wines taste ‘good’. Simple, punchy, gluggable. Nothing audacious. Nothing too serious. We were inspired by a country jam shed on a vineyard that crafted not only deliciously juicy jams, but also amazing mouth-watering wines. Jam Shed was created with one thing in mind - to craft delicious, smooth and gluggable wines for those that enjoy great tasting wine.

Jam Shed is a truly terrible Malbec

I found it to be so sweet it was undrinkable..

I found it very sickly indeed. It reminded me of the 2 litres of drink which I had to consume the night before my colonoscopy.

Bordering on just being too sweet for me but can handle the odd glass. The missus likes it though and she allegedly has more refined wine palate than me ! But good price for a general drinker or one to keep around for people dropping in or needing a bottle to take to party. Have some heat.

Bordering? Just bordering on being too sweet? How many table spoons of sugar would you need to add to a glass to make this wine too sweet?

I have a sweet tooth, but this was undrinkably sweet for me.

Not beating up this deal as it's a matter of preference, but I'd pay the extra £2.25 and get 6 of these from Tesco: hotukdeals.com/sha…405

We likes what we like, unfortunately to buy 6 of these it is £12 more than the ones here, and the one you linked to is OOS currently

Tried this..it is jammy in taste

I can see that as I had the bottle. Just letting others know that it indeed tastes what the tin says.

There's a few wines that I can't drink anymore because of the milk AND egg!!!

X6 Jam Shed Malbec Nitty Gritty
You're drinking red wine from the big bad city
  15. presterjohn71's avatar
I'm guessing, judging by the comments that a lot of people are confusing this with the Shiraz version. The Malbec is newer and not selling so well.

Ooh, Malbec is one of the few Reds I actually like, just not enough to buy that much!

    EDIT:
Apparently it's a bit sweet for a Malbec, don't think it'd bother me as I quite like a sweet wine. (edited)

Sweet is this product USP. I find yellow tail a bit better under this category

    Does it include the rose

    Brilliant wine at this price
  19. blahblahblah1234's avatar
Beware, you only get 25% off if you buy exactly 6 bottles, the 7th bottle is charged at FULL PRICE.

It's the same price, £6 at Asda and Tesco, plus both stores also doing 25% off ANY 6 bottles.
You don't have to buy 6 the same, and at Tesco you can get 25% off more than 6 bottles.

Not very nice, but then Argentina does not export their decent wine.

Their beef steak malbec from Mendoza is a very decent crowd pleaser.

Delayed dispatch up to 4 weeks.
Good to see everyone putting their trust in Amazon to honour these prices after the August 1st alcohol duty increases. Unless they take immediate payment for items on back order, I wouldn't put it past them to cancel a jam shed load of orders.

If you live in England, might be better off stocking up at the supermarket with 25% off 6 bottles before August 1st.

With Amazon it usually comes much sooner, that's just worst case. And I'm almost certain they'll ship it not to worry :).

Could anyone recommend a low sulphite red wine on Amazon please?

    Giving it try. Thanks OP

Bought this last time it was posted, I'm not a big drinker but just loved the taste of this, a slightly sweet taste but a full-bodied texture and most enjoyable.
  28. Chr_Brown's avatar
The worst red wine I have ever drank.
  29. Chr_Brown's avatar
Ah yeah I probably am. But tbh I can't trust them if they thought it was ok to release the Shiraz version ha.
