Just switched to New Balance from Adidas Ultraboost for my running shoes because I needed a wider fitting.
Found some Fresh Foam X 1080 in the Outlet at Castleford for £47. Really impressed with them and will probably stick with New Balance going forward.
If anyone has an Outlet store close to them it’s worth a look in there for even bigger bargains.

I love my 1080. Ultraboost was my first top end shoe & lover them. 2021 model was the replacement & very disappointed. Switched to Brooks & loved the Hyperion/Glycerin but wanted more stack & the 1080 has been spot on.

Thanks for commenting, I was gonna buy a pair until I saw that you didn’t like them

I’m sorry but these trainers are cheap trash and not worth even their reduced prices. Like some other deals, the RRP is a fantasy

    Two sentences, both wrong.

was waiting for this extra code for a month! thanks for that!
I think these are one of the most comfy trainers on the market, nike or adidas are nowhere near it. (edited)

Can anyone tell me if NB are true to size??
    wonger73's avatar
I often look at trainer review videos on youtube and see what they say about different models of each brand, you can ask the people in the comments that say they have bought them about sizing in the comments. The only NB that I have bought a few times was a 574 and I'm a 9 in Nike,Skechers and Clarks but had to go up half a size to 9.5 just like I have to with Adidas.

Can't believe the price of New Balance these days. I think my last pair of 574s about 3 years ago were £30 on sale.

voted cold. Still expensive after discount. (edited)

just because something is expensive does not make it a cold deal.

Pretty sure I got my 574's in a deal posted on here for £35 was a while ago though
    Just look at them now.

way too expensive even with discount, un-hot
  10. sm350's avatar
Think this is expensive go to schuh is 95 a pair
  11. barnehurst's avatar
Because of the crippling p&p charge, you need to spend over £100 and return most of the order or the discount is eaten up

I don't understand why when filtering by size that the New Balance website can't do something as straightforward as just show you items that are in stock in the filtered size like the Nike website manages. Even sorting the results by 'Availability' doesn't seem to produce anything meaningful. Same issue applies across the whole site, not just the sale stuff.

Thank you!!! Just bought these XC-72s for basically half price. I’ve had my eye on them for a bit.

oh a new balance sale.....not seen one of those in a while!!
  16. tom6195's avatar
I do love new balance but they never put any of their top tier trainers in the sale (990, 991, 2002r or "Made in" range etc.) (edited)
    Cameron92's avatar
Why would they? They sell at rrp no problem. Like Nike will never put all white AF1s on sale because they know teens will always pay full price for them.

Gutted. I just got a big order from NB last week. Do I return and reorder with the discount or contact customer services?(excited)

how is the sizing? I'm usually size 9. Fairly wide and flat feet. These days some shoes feel too narrow and small at size 9. In the past i was a "regular" size 9. These true to size?

Some shoes offer a wide version.

Mod needs to amend the delivery information. It’s free delivery for £100 spend not £50.

  23. barnehurst's avatar
Like new balance but not the inflated prices, even after discount

Rebel V3 for £62.40 is great! (Grabbed two pairs and likely to return one.)

I sadly missed this the other day, I don't suppose anyone knows of any other codes that work on the New Balance site?
