I used to buy Levis all the time. Now buy Tu jeans from Sainsbury's which looks just as good, last just as long and are a fraction of the price.

Those RRPs are a joke - £130 for a pair of 501s? In the US, Levis aren't anything out of the ordinary and can be bought for $40-70 pretty much anywhere.

In Costco, a pair of 501s is about £38 + VAT. (edited)

50 squid is not a deal for a pair of jeans, even seen a pair with holes in the knee...really £50 pound, crikey i have two pairs of 501's with rips, give me a bullseye for them..

Has anyone found any good places for buying Levi’s 501 or 505’s(that I now believe are the same cut as 501’s but with a zip fly) from? Also is there a guide to what cuts are the different variations of Levi’s jeans! Thanks in advance.

for a zip fly i was always under the impression that 514's were the same fit as 501 but with a zip....ive both and mine are similar ...though 501's maybe a little bit of a looser fit ...and a bit heavier material .

just recently i've found sizes a bit weird ...just returned a medium overshirt as it was huge ...yet my denim jacket is a large

got told by an independent shop recently...who's sold levis in my town for as long as i can remember and he was saying the fit and style is now gone back to being a bit looser

and for the record 50 quid for a pair of levis is'nt a bad price these days (discounting possible cheapies on amazon that people have said are a bit iffy )

I wouldn’t mind some decent priced 501’s but very little sizes in stock that are reduced!

Some good deals but I can only see tiny sizes still in stock for the stuff I was interested in (mens).

Does anyone have any experience of Levi’s jeans on eBay? There’s quite a few listings for new for £40, some £45. Some are said to be clearance but I don’t know whether that’s code for fake?I don’t know whether that’s too good to be true? Thanks in advance.
