Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell DLC

Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari DLC

Release date: 17/08/2023

Mow down thousands of night creatures and survive until dawn!

Vampire Survivors is a gothic horror casual game with rogue-lite elements, where your choices can allow you to quickly snowball against the hundreds of monsters that get thrown at you.

Hell is empty, the devils are here, and there's no place to run or hide. All you can do is survive as long as you can until death inevitably puts an end to your struggles. Gather gold in each run to buy upgrades and help the next survivor.

The supernatural indie phenomenon that lets you be the bullet hell!

The whole game is also playable in 1-4 player couch co-op.

Starting Tips:

- Take your time to grab gems and items, they won't disappear.

- Get two or three offensive weapons at first, but focus on levelling them up one at a time.

- Armour and Luck are good starting power-ups to spend money on.

- Refund power-ups often, it's free, and try new upgrade paths.

For what it's worth the free Google Play version of this is really good too.

This was my GOTY last year, after I accidentally dropped over 45 hours in about 9 days on my laptop over the Christmas and New Year period. It clicked so quickly I bought a copy for my friend after an hour.

The BAFTAS got it right. It's simple and brilliant, and disarmingly addictive (especially if it clicks into you psyche and rings that particular dopamine bell). The player's relationship to the game over time moves through anxious avoidance and nail-biting near misses (stretching to last another minute) at the start, to confident dominance and basic control of the field, then into build experimentation and ridiculousness the stronger and more experienced you get, drawing out longevity and replayability.

The developers are a local indy team with a great story (search YouTube for the story of making the game by noClip documentaries) who work with the community and produce amazing quality and value content in the DLC (which you should absolutely get).

Worth every penny. I can't recommend it enough. I'm buying it again on Switch for sure. (edited)

Surprisingly addictive game. Doesn't look like much until you start playing it.

Have almost completed on Xbox, just in time to start again on Switch.

Wonder how the Switch will cope when things get hectic.

I've completed it, only on phone but still play a bit, my phone chugs all the way down to around 1 or 2 FPS in the more hectic later stages

I grabbed this on my Steam Deck after everybody recommended it. Really fun game for not a lot of money

The epitome of a “Just one more go” game…

Should come with an addictive health warning sticker on it.

    Easy buy at this price.

The game basically plays itself. I liked it but it loses all challenge after a while
