To clear a few things up (based on previous FAQs):

    Processing times

We aim to process promotional orders within 30 working days (please note; Bank Holidays and Weekends are not working days)

    Where we are

We are based in West Yorkshire; right here in the UK. Our labs are also in West Yorkshire (again, in the UK)

Okay, so I’ve seen the processing times and I agreed to them when I placed the order but I still want my glasses quicker

Just call us on 03448 20 20 20 to discuss our Fast Track Service with us.

    We hope this information helps.

    Kind regards,

    Your Specky Team

The one thing that puts me off is the painfully slow delivery time. Last glasses I ordered here took two months to turn up.

Jai kudos hight of lense is low between 20mm to 25mm. Please check before ordering. Quality of frames is quite good.

Good quality and price but yeah be aware that delivery can be painfully slow for this day and age (like a month from the point of ordering )

Could someone please advise me what the add near and add intermediate parts of the prescription setting refer too? I can't see anything in relation to this on my prescription

    near add +1.00
Don't really need an intermediate ass when your near add is only +1.00 as this has a long near working distance range. (edited)

I've seen my error. Apparently you need to add the free lenses to get that price. Wasn't clear when I was doing it on my phone. Guess I need glasses more than I thought :/

Cheers grabbed a pair as a spare .

Loved my last pair from SpeckyFourEyes. Great deal. They take a while to make but you are getting great glasses for a bargain price. Spec savers (who I usually use) take quite some time to make them too!

Do my lenses end up thick as shot glasses?
  17. flamethrower's avatar
Surly the displayed price on the post should show up the total price. Well, at least that was how it used to be on HUKD.

They changed it so the delivery has its own little section

How have you got the price down to £16.99? When I try the final cart balance is £31.98 after £70 discount and I've selected all the basic options.

Looks like you've added a package on to it. Just do the basic prescription no extras

Can you order more than 1 pair per delivery?
    Gunnerr4life's avatar
Nope, I tried. You have to do them separately if using the code
  21. scardwel's avatar
They want an extra £30 from me because my prescription "falls outside our standard power range".
    I declined.

Sorry to hear, must be some thick lenses those

Is there an option to add anti glare on these ones?
    pravin333's avatar
Yes do not add in order initially , they will immediately email you offer with discount for anti glare. Delivery takes forever

Just got 2 pairs of Nike glasses from Asda for £160 . As spec savers charge a fortune to thin 2 pairs . Asda lense thinning is free . I ordered a pair of these though as a spare

Never heard of Jai Kudo lol, but this is the normal price for single vision at most of these online places , I have tried most..

Goggles4u is the quickest by far and just got a pair of varifocals for £30 which is pretty good, quite happy with them.

Any offers on free eye test anywhere?
  26. robin9342's avatar
By the time I've added in my rather strong prescription and extras that I actually need (never go without anti reflective), the cost works out no cheaper than Specsavers. Also can't see any entry for BVD measurement - also essential for me. Still, a good deal for anyone with a low prescription wanting a very basic 2nd pair.

They sometimes offer anti-glare for £15.99 (it used to be £9.99 few years ago). Specsavers usually costs me over £100, with anti-glare etc (no thinning), whereas this one costs me £32 with anti-glare. (edited)

I don't need glasses but I have sensitive eyes (wind, dust, light, etc) and I spend a lot of time on screens.

I've heard mixed things about blue light blocking glasses, would anybody recommend them or would I be better with some glasses with no subscription on them?

Optician wasn't helpful as my vision is perfect, just sensitive eyes
    daive's avatar
I worked in an opticians for over 10 years, if you don't need glasses then putting a lens in front of your eyes is only going to increase glare. Having a decent pair of polarised sunglasses for bright light is definitely useful. I have a blue light filter in my glasses because I got it free from my work, I wouldn't say there's a significant improvement, but I don't dislike it. Better spending your money on decent eyes drops to keep your eyes fresh with prolonged screen use. Just my thoughts!

Bought, thanks. They offered anti-glare coating for £15.99 via email (it was £9.99 few years ago). However, I would not recommend their anti-glare (based off my glasses from few years ago), I am not even sure if they ended up adding it to my glasses, but it is quite terrible.
  29. yozzman1234's avatar
So over a week after I ordered I get an email saying the glasses you picked are sold out . Can you pick another pair . I picked new pair , guess I will now wait a further 4 weeks lol
    Feargal's avatar
Was it the glasses posted here that where sold out? Not heard anything yet.
