well that's very worrying from the feedback people are giving regarding nectar pulling the expiry date forward causing people to miss out, and quite frankly outrageous.

I'm actually in the middle of negotiating a deal with a seller, and I would only offer that top end money offer purely because of the 19x points, without it I simply would not have made the offer, so all the time and effort would have been wasted.

I did check my nectar section on the ebay website before I started negotiating, and even as of right now, it does still say:

You signed up for 10x bonus points.
    On 08 Sep, 2023 08:33 Campaign valid for items purchased from 08 Sep, 2023 08:33 to 11 Sep, 2023 23:59.

You signed up for 10x bonus points.

So at least for me it looks to be ok? but now I worry after making the purchase nectar/ebay won't award the points? pretty scandalous stuff. (edited)
    adistripes's avatar
Yeah the date will change as soon as you make a purchase (well mine did anyway!) as I checked before/after purchase.

Login to Ebay account as normal and come back to this page and press the get deal icon above. This activates the first 10 x Nectar points with a confirmation of ****You’ve activated the Nectar bonus offer!***.

Whilst still logged into Ebay press the link below for a further 10 x Nectar points on the same purchase so that you get 20 x Nectar points in total.

    Further 10 x Nectar Point

Note to OP or mod feel free to clean the above up so that everyone benefits.

I have a few ebay accounts and it worked on them all.

They actually changed the end date on offer as mentioned by others, very bad

That's outrageous from them. People signed up knowing they had a few days. They can't just retract after the fact.

I haven't used mine yet, and just checked, and it still says 11th Sept.

Is everyone else seeing 8th Sept? It does seem that there are issues with the Nectar/eBay dates though. (edited)
  4. Jay921's avatar
    Isnt this usually capped?
    bozo007's avatar
Yes. Maximum points on a base spend of £300. So 3000 points at most. Still a 5% discount effectively.
  5. Nilshah's avatar
Had both offers applied, placed an order this morning and only received 1x nectar points.😵‍💫

Happened to me too yesterday with a best offer I made after the activation, came back to see they had updated the end date from the 11th to the 8th and therefore only got the base points. Have reached out to the Nectar support team (as the Ebay team say they were the ones managing the campaign) to see if there is anything they can do as I would have honestly held off on the purchase if not for the bonus points. Very poor look for them.
  6. dawud_maher's avatar
Looking to buy a phone for £750 does that mean I'll get around £55 off as i have applied is 10x nectar points twice?
    Crossbow's avatar
Every Nectar offer is capped at 300 base points, so in this case you'll get 300 x 19 = 5700 or £28.50
In other words, a £300 spend is the sweet spot for any Nectar deal - over & above this doesn't count at all.
All of this may not track or payout initially, so be patient if it doesn't & raise a claim after 28 days if it still doesn't show up by then.
  7. lego.findr's avatar
Cheers! 20x Nectar is basically equivalent to 10% back in cash value. Combine with other cashback sites to boost for a great deal.
  8. adistripes's avatar
Yup, my end dates changed too after checking my purchase today! Shame on Nectar for doing this! Contacted them via chat - uploading screenshots of the before/after offer page on eBay, asking why the dates changed, but I didn't get an answer, instead I was told I'd get the 10x points manually added, which are showing in my account. Only 150 points added, but it's the principle!!
  9. EricCantona74's avatar
Complained via eBay chat that the dates had been changed and that I lost out on points due to this. The operator took down my details and escalated it to the correct department. I checked my nectar account yesterday and I'd been given 10x nectar points for the transaction as a goodwill gesture. I'm happy enough with that I definitely didn't think they'd pay out the full 19x points.
    Msx98's avatar
I got fobbed off by ebay to nectar who are saying call us then chat to us then call us....
  10. CSB's avatar
I found the offer in the Nectar app and activated it. Thanks for the heads up.
  11. dealhunter6k's avatar
This deal would be better if it opened with the words "you need to stack the codes". I simply saw 19x and clicked the get deal button and I've only got 9x on my purchase. Because I didn't stack the deals .

    Read the description first!
  12. SmithyJohnny's avatar
I have tried to read all the details but can someone please confirm. The offer is for one transaction only?
Because it states for "items purchased from..."
    Crossbow's avatar
Yes, one transaction but you can buy any items or multiple of items if you so wish.
  13. Jedi-Panda's avatar
Bought a iPad for £255 got 4845 points (worth £24). And its already tracked.
Just a note even if it doesn't show the bonus nectar points at checkout it will still track.

Anyone made any progress on this? I will be chasing Nectar and eBay
    cheezypeas's avatar
I got caught out too (offer showed valid until 11th, then changed to 8th AFTER I had made a purchase).
I fully intend to chase nectar as soon as their CS comes online today - am very annoyed (edited)

    Not working for me
  18. Nickelardarse's avatar
Made a large-ish purchase earlier only to just now realise the end date was the 8th. Thought I was going crazy thinking it ended on the 11th, then saw others saying the same in here. How frustrating!
    Madstick's avatar
Same ☹️ I’m going to try to get them to honour it as changing the dates on us without contacting us is not right. Looks like the date changes when you actually purchase something which is even worse!
  19. weddingpunchup's avatar
Link worked fine cheers! Better than nothing on a £150 spend
  20. BROADBANNED's avatar
Not stacking for me - claimed both and only see 1 10x entry - i think they patched it.
    UnderTheRadar's avatar
Same thing at my end, seems to just show 10x despite following the instructions
  21. Joyboy_Nika's avatar
Thanks OP!! 19x nectar points plus complete savings combo is great

If i buy 2 of the same item which whill be £13 quid each in the same listing will i still get the points as the total will be over £15? Thanks. Appreciate it (edited)
    Crossbow's avatar
    Yes, this should be ok.
It will track as a single transaction with 26 base points, so exceeds the min 15 needed to be eligible.
  22. gobbhudk's avatar
nice, my bonus points have already tracked
  23. rainbow-melon's avatar
Nectar support refusing to help, claiming i should not have activated it without intent to use it!, Asked them for their complaints process because never had an issue before and this is clearly an issue on their end as it has happened to several people now.
    sashforth's avatar
What a lot of nonsense. I am afraid that that sort of ill informed comment would have riled me up a bit. Did you get details of the complaints process as I am sure that there are others on here that would be interested in using them.

I don't know what happened, but I spent £20.23 earlier today, and I got 180 nectar, plus another 180 nectar, plus another 180 nectar, plus 20 nectar. Many thanks for posting this deal.
  26. Revhead007's avatar
Just to add it's £15 minimum spend.
  27. Ducklinggg's avatar
Link not working. It's directing to normal ebay
    KeithD's avatar
Yep, the deal link seems to do that. I went to the Nectar app and the offer can be activated in the Partners offers bit of the app, which takes you to the correct place on the eBay website.
  28. mrnobody's avatar
    Not working for me
  29. Pete95's avatar
Link doesn’t work for me, nothing in the partner offers in my nectar app, but opened eBay app and it was on the homepage, so activated it successfully there

Exchanged some Nectar points for an Ebay voucher yesterday to make a purchase, has any one any idea if the goods are returned for a refund etc what then happens to the voucher value?thanks Chris
    BlackHawk's avatar
I'm certain the voucher is refunded in the same format i.e. you'll have the voucher available to you to reuse.
  32. swafe's avatar
Do these stack? I.e. Will I get 20x points on one points or 10x points on my next 2 purchases?
    Crossbow's avatar
Yes, they do. So if you activate them both & buy something that meets the minimum requirements, you will get 19x the points - one lot are the base points that gets shared between the offers.
If you activate them one by one & buy stuff one at a time inbetween, you will get 10x & 10x for each transaction - if this makes any sense? (edited)
  33. flash040710's avatar
Many thanks for sharing, worked for me as always happens spent out this morning
  34. wolfmanone's avatar
    Excellent thanks got both
  35. Leighg1988's avatar
Can anyone help, after activating the offer, When I go to the checkout, at the bottom of the page, it's showing as 1 point per £ on a £180 spend....
    Crossbow's avatar
Did you activate 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 offers (see my post just below the main one), then checked here if they've been activated? ebay.co.uk/nec…ome

If they show up fine like in my screenshot there, then go on to purchase & you'll be ok.
Sometime last year they stopped mentioning Nectar points for items individually & mention only the base points at checkout. (edited)

same, spent £400 the other day. another £100 today but missed the stack up to 19x on that too.
  37. DistortedVision's avatar
Damn, knew I should have waited for a better Nectar deal. Spent £300 when the 10x deal was on.
    azl's avatar
Did the same thing last time. If only I waited 1 more day would have saved extra £13
  38. swafe's avatar
Does this work on one item only? Or would you get it if you add multiple items to your basket and buy together?
    Crossbow's avatar
It will work for multiples of the same item from the same seller.
As long as one or more items tracks as a single transaction of 15 base points or greater, you'll be fine.
If delivery costs are separate, then you may need to take this into account as well especially if your purchase is close to the £15 min spend. Separate delivery costs don't count towards the total base points. (edited)

    Very nice.
  40. Guess_What's avatar
I literally just purchased something for £100 🤦🏽‍♂️
    Crossbow's avatar
If it hasn't been dispatched yet, you can very very politely request the seller to cancel the transaction & buy it again after activating both.
