Worth noting that this TV does not have Dolby Atmos, so you are not going to be able to use the wireless Dolby Atmos features on the soundbar with this particular TV. Not sure it supports the DTS features either. Bit of bind, if you want to use the Q-symphony features (which seem quite useful) you will need a Samsung TV. If you want to use the Atmos and DTS features, you will need to spend £934.15 or more for a 65" Samsung TV with Atmos. Trustedreviews gave the soundbar 4 1/2 stars, despite the reviewer being unable to get a number of features to work. Arguably still a good deal for the price, but not particularly compatible with each other. (edited)

Connect it via the sky Q box if you have one and that should solve that issue

This is a really good deal with yhe sound bar, yer OK, it's crystal, but my current 50inch TV is also crystal so I won't see any quality degradation anyway. Yer, yer I know all the OLED and QLEd spotters will be banging their gums about the depth of blacks etc... but the price over rides this.
    sheffield788's avatar
The soundbar was under £100 not until long ago, Samsung cashback ended less than a week ago.
There are a few Qled 65 inch TVs listed on HUKD for less than this price.
I think this is a good deal, but you can pay the same money for QLED. My comment is not referring to OLED/QLED quality or brand vs this. My comment relates to 'the price over rides this'. However, this is a good price, and i voted hot.

Edit - I should mention that my comment relates to the price for those who can't access the EPP. The EPP price is great, and the fact that it is coming with a soundbar is a bonus. (edited)

How does this TV compare with the TCL C645?
    rik111's avatar
    its the same size
  5. C0mm0d0re_K1d's avatar
Good price for a 65". But it doesn't have QLED and is only old style Edge lit. So will not be as bright or uniform as a direct lit or full array.
    Hollins's avatar

Agreed Good price though, especially with the soundbar included.

    Beware, only one year warranty
    yeababyyea's avatar
U cud fight with the rights of it shud last at least 5 years but I guess depends how they are with being generous
  7. dale7's avatar
Make sure you get the 5 year guarantee on these, nice tv's, but one year later on the 55" lots of greying aka 'dirty screen' no just on edges in middle, engineer been out and its a fault
  8. doritos's avatar
How would this compare in picture quality to an old Panasonic Plasma tv?
    StewChapan's avatar
If you are used to a plasma picture you have no choice but to go OLED. My old Panny Plasma has turned me into a TV snob!
  9. MAC246's avatar
Soundbar is 399£ alone in curry’s
    joseimel's avatar
Sells for around 100£ in eBay
  10. adam19's avatar
Buy this crap TV with this half decent sound bar at a reasonable price... TV is pants.
    tdk2bu's avatar
Agreed, I'm really surprised this has gone crazy hot. It's Samsung's entry level TV with soundbar that has been and most likely will be under £100 again.

It's an ok deal if you're in a rush or say for a spare room but if I wanted a main TV I would definitely look at better deals for similar money or up to £150 more and get a far better user experience.
  11. redromski's avatar
TCB is now 10% not 20% but will be surprised if that tracks through to payment anyway. Just purchased 🏼
    imcheap69's avatar
    Did it track?

Yep, bundle up rubbish products together as a way of getting rid of old tech. Save your money people. (edited)
    yeababyyea's avatar
Hahaha u only just noticed ...

    Sell the bar for £100-£120.

And TV works out good value
  13. Freezing_hot's avatar
Don't think its included in Samsung 5 years warranty models ?
    yeababyyea's avatar
Think epp sites are 1 year warranty
  14. johno21051989's avatar
Purchasd, thanks. I just need to convince the misses on the 65-inch now 😩

You'll be fine mate, she's always telling me how she prefers the extra few inches.

I don't understand why these types of posts get hot with so many likes/grades,since it's restrictive. EPP it's not for everyone. Just for a certain category that has the access, unless there are some codes that I'm not aware of. (edited)
    Nicolas's avatar
90% of the deals on here are in some shape or form restrictive
Example Argos clearance in their clearance store in no man’s land up somewhere
  16. Nesima's avatar
It is never worth messing about with 'bargain' TVs; just go straight to Richer Sounds who give a 6 year warranty and have world class customer service, to go with competitive prices.
Just divide the cost of your TV by 72 and that is how much it costs you a month for a worry free purchase. After 6 years you can either carry on using it if you are still happy with it or give it way and buy the latest technology. (edited)
    MAC246's avatar
You say that, warranty etc. I’ve never had a tv go wrong. I’ve still got a 50” lg from years ago which has now been demoted to a spare room tv… still going strong

Obviously if you back flip it off the sofa it wont last (edited)
  17. g00ner82's avatar
Is this 50hz ? Or 60 as when checking model on Samsung website specs suggest 50 hz which seems quite bad now days ?

Great size, great price, but in dark environment you will notice light bleed and ghosting, perfectly fine tv tho
  25. pr2thej's avatar
Does it come with free Samsung ads?
    send-pc-deals's avatar
i have the 2021 model of this TV and it has ads i disconnected it from the internet as every device i have connected to it (minus the switch) can do the same thing
  26. davidh5555's avatar
Just had mine delivered, coming from an old 1080p 40inch Samsung this is a different miles better. Well happy for the price.
  27. shug119's avatar
Not sure if this has Bluetooth. Great price
  28. benrichardson15's avatar
Does anyone know the difference between this TV and the CU7100?
    davidh5555's avatar
They are the same, it's a bit strange done a lot of googling and could find no difference. They even delivered the CU7100.

Just checked the box again and it does show CU7110. (edited)
  29. cidsquid's avatar
How do you get the soundbar for free? I have to add it to the basket it manually and the offer doesn’t apply
    Hollins's avatar
    Author
After adding the listed TV to your basket the soundbar is automatically added.

I've got what seems to be the bigger version of this and it's decent. Not saying it's absolutely amazing top of the line, but it's good. my only issue is that it can be super slow when you're trying to change source and stuff
  31. shpanalim's avatar
How do you get that price?
    Is there a code?
    Hollins's avatar

You need to be eligible to use the Samsung EPP scheme. See above; one of the first comments for eligibility.

I keep hearing bad things about the washing machines and tumble dryers but mines still going strong, for now...
  33. codnan's avatar
Great price for a large tv.
Imo tho , I would buy something smaller and perhaps a bit more to get a better picture as these low model samsung are disappointing. Not great viewing angles , dull back-light, washed out colours, and most of the software picture enhancement don't work properly.
These samsung do seem to last well tho
  34. redromski's avatar
Just jumped on this and will buy. But was it always just a white soundbar option? Or is that what it left now?

Doesn't seem to work now will let you buy TV on its own but not with sound bar. Wont go to payments screen. (edited)
    Hollins's avatar
    Author
I think it's always only been a white soundbar.

Still works for me via BLC (edited)
  35. iw1234's avatar
In relation to warranty, it appears that it is 1 year when purchased from Samsung or 5 years when purchased from another retailer - at least this is what it seems to say at samsung.com/uk/…ty/

I have access to the deal via BLC but in two minds about it!
    joseimel's avatar
I bought it and I am not thinking on returning cancelling
  36. saq10's avatar

The price is £476.10 including the free soundbar - I just purchased it.
  38. iw1234's avatar
£57.13 cashback tracked via Quidco as well - I didn't even go through Quidco so must be from a previous time I went to the Samsung site via Quidco? Doubt any cashback will be paid!
