Had one of these a few years ago. Like all cheap ratchets, this will fail quite quickly and then it's junk. Getting the bits out is also a pain - you can't see what they are and the transfers wear off . I really wouldn't recommend one.

I'd take a fixed screwdriver over a cheap ratchet any day - something like this will last so much longer and you can replace the bits when they wear out:

    May I disagree?

I was just thinking how long I've had mine (I think it was a gift and doesn't appear to be an expensive version). It must be 20 years or so old and it has been a little godsend.

In my opinion everyone should have one squirelled away somewhere!

Literally just spent a small fortune on a fancy Wera ratchet set. I'll just tell myself it was worth the extra!

Yes wera always worth it. Draper a very cheap nasty tools that fall apart as the reviews suggest

these are really handy if you Snowboard, small and convenient to carry around on the slopes and has all the tools you need to tighten and adjust your bindings.

Heat added - looks to be a great price and the "front load" storage system seems to be heaps better than the screw on end cap version. I'd be a tad worried about the double ended bits though - are replacements available? Otherwise the life of the set is going to be determined by when the small Phillips gets chewed up.

Christmas is rearing it's happy bright red nose ... something to lay into stock as a small crimble present for a small child that likes to take things to bits? Your mad uncle with a screw loose? The Secret Santa with the same loose screw message? (edited)
