Saw the live show at the O2 a few years ago, Ricky Wilson of the Kaiser chiefs as the Artilleryman and Liam Neeson hologram. It was very good.

1st heard this in 95 on vinyl when my dad went out and could get access to the turntable. Listened through quality headphones and I was mesmerised from the start. Always reminds me of pops every time I see the cover or listen to it. A must listen to anyone who has not yet experienced it.

This is still available on YouTube, this is the "proper" version with Richard Burton doing the narration!
    Awesome escapism!

Does anyone know what the chances of anything coming from Mars are?
    Bobby1967's avatar
Dunno....but believe Mars is 10% bigger since the 1980s (one for the older forum members).

Sure you're not thinking about the Orson Wells radio show hoax that resulted in some panic in the 1930s (I think)?
