sorted byYou might PREFER them with an amp and they might then get louder then you'd want to listen, but for most they'd be fine running natively
How do you store them? Do you have a case or..
really accurate hi-fi grade sound at a very reasonable price.
built like a tank too.typical German design.
very wide sound stage.(which makes them some on of the best options for gaming too)
I used these for a while and wore them out a bit but now I bought 2nd hand 1990s Beyer's I'm set.
These are well worth 120 unless you find and would wish for some 1990s on offer, say 315.1 UKP.
Great cans without the need of an amp was a must as I plug them straight into my Dualsense controller for power. I use a USB DAC when I'm on my PC, though.
Ive recently started getting into high quality audio equipment for my PC setup moving from usb headphones, I have brought a Autaria minifuse 2 interface but feel the DT 770 pro 250 Ohm (closed back version of these which ive bought) are not very good at all on it. The bass is extremely low and poor in my opinion (despite many online saying it would work fine and be loud and that the DT 770 is as good as my others Im not feeling the same way). I also own a pair of Audio Technica M50x and those sound absolutely incredible (as they are lower Ohms) on the same setup. Unfortunately I am returning them as they are extremely uncomfortable after only an hour of wearing. Im baffled - Do i need to buy an amp and will the DT 770 pro ever sound close to the Audio Technica M50x? Ive ordered a HD400 which i am going to give a try but was wondering if there is anyone out there with similar setup knowledge understanding or experience. I know the bass is boosted on the Technicas but they sound crisper and fuller than the DT 770s which if im being honest I think are a bit crappy in comparison for sound quality (Im hoping that this is an amp issue though)
