Don't do it is my advice, the new normal pricing for this performance for 2TB is £89.99 as evidenced by the Silicon Power XS70. (edited)

Don’t do it, I think you mean. And I agree, unless you badly need the slimline heatsink then get the Silicon Power.

This is the Gen 4 With Heat Sink. Straight into your PS5. I have a smaller one, it works just like the existing storage. Heat OP

Oooo this is mighty tempting, was looking at a 1tb one for between 60-70, even considered a Corsair 500gb which was a little under £30 but this would cure space as an issue in a much bigger way then the 500 and even the 1tb.

I seen this at eBuyer ebuyer.com/141…-cs but for an extra 13 when you include the p7p of eBuyer, it seems much wiser to spend the 13 for a more reputable and brand with a better heatsink. (edited)

There's no point buying the SN850x when you can get pretty much identical performance for £89.99

Anyone used the seller before? I know a lot of eBay feedback, but I had issues with a similar eBay seller previously so always makes me question legitimacy

This or the Firecuda 530 2TB Heatsink for £115 from Amazon ? What to buy it for the PS5 (edited)

Overkill for the PS5 really but it is a good price for this drive.
I'd go for this over the Seagate. (edited)

Excellent drive, have one of these in my 2nd slot and it's swift in every way.
£110 when I got mine a while back (and that was without heatsink) and most prices have gone up since then. (edited)

So I bought this one. I didn't do my research and was hoping to pop this into an enclosure for a boot drive for Mac. Does anyone know if any Thunderbolt enclosures are compatible with this heatsink model or should I just forget it and put this in my PS5 and buy another one without a heatsink?
