Amazon deals, prices changing quickly after posting on hukd

Anyone noticed recently?

I post loads of Amazon deals and notice recently that prices are changing so quickly after I post on here. I guess it's because hukd are changing it to affiliate links resulting in amazon changing their prices so quickly, happened so much over last couple weeks, unbelievable!

Really off-putting actually, spoils what used to be a great site.

Amazon tracks interest, always has. The more visits or sales an item gets the more they ramp up the prices, as long as they are never undercut by another seller on their platform anyway.

As already said, this isn't surprising as Amazon uses a pricing algorithm that increase price for high demand items and reduce price for low demand items. You have to be fast if you want the cheap price posted!

Been watching an item that has suddenly risen in price. Call me cynical but it wouldn’t surprise me if it drops back to the original price come a week or two when the “Black Friday “ deals start

A lot of retailers do this

BF has a large collection of sales but alot of those sales come with inflated prices beforehand and a final price that isn't the lowest of the year in most cases.

Prices on a lot of things will have jumped over the last couple of weeks. It's the law! Really! For something to be marked as a 'Sale' item it must have been sold at a higher price for the previous 2(?) weeks. So the price goes up, the higher the better, then they reduce it to the sale price ( which could have been half the sale price three weeks ago).
Edit .. Forgot to add, same at Amazon, black Friday etc. (edited)
