buying electronic components in london?

does anyone know of a shop where I can buy things like capacitors, resistors, potentiometers etc from London please? something like RS components or Farnell but a place i can buy and collect on the day

    In the good old days Tottenham court road was the street for all electronic components.

    We have moved online now but the big cex is still there and a few other random ones. Nearly got myself a Sony aibo robot dog from one of those stores once ! (edited)

    Anywhere from the city up to the northwest near Edgware or finchley etc.
    I’m visiting next week but I can travel anywhere the tube goes I guess
