Apple products from Elekdirect

Hi All,

Generally what are Apple products like that are purchased from elekdirect? I’ve just purchased a Macbook that was described as “manufacturer packaging - blemished box”

I want to get AppleCare, has anyone had any previous experience buying from them and the device has been unactivated ? Thanks

50:50 chance. Sometimes it’s been refused due to packaging damage so you get a brand new product that was never activated. Sometimes it’s been returned to change of mind after someone switched it on and tried it a few days before sending back.

The MacBook Air I bought had already been activated and was outside the window to purchase AppleCare. But an Apple Watch from there was brand new.

You might be able to take it to an Apple Store and get it inspected and take AppleCare out there and then. It just needs to be under a year old.

Bought an iPad from them. In perfect condition (box was a little scuffed). Had been registered but only 5 days before I received the unit.
