No Win No Fee Solicitors

Hello

Has anyone had a positive experiences with "no win no fee solicitors"? I have been dealing with harassment for the past five months and i want to put an end to it, once and for all. If anyone could suggest any, i would greatly appreciate it.

Many thanks

I expect solicitors of this type will only help if they have a reasonable expectation of getting their costs back. So if you are being harassed by someone who is skint it might be a lost cause.

Have you reported this to the police?

"no win no fee" tends to be for cases where there is certainty of payment so the solicitors can take their commission. anything iffy, then they won't offer this to you, so unless you have strong evidence (and have contacted the police) and the culprit has money to claim against, then no good for you.

I think for this none would exist. No win no fee I've only seen for accidents at work. Because theres high chance of success. I did however contact one for work contract related issues, no win no fee that is and they said to look into the case they would charge me. I think it was a consultation fee and you can bet there would be more of those and this would not be part of no win no fee.

I don’t think anyone will take this job.. except the police (not the band) and even then, they will just knock on their door, tell them to stop, then move on

You may find a lawyer if you are being harassed by your boss and he happens to be Robert de Niro.. Else, sorry but you will have to find another way. '(

Re: You may find a lawyer if you are being harassed by your boss

No not at all..... I live in personal care/support housing. The past five months i have been subjected to a distressing period of psychological abuse patterns and routines, including sleep deprivation. The manager and certain individuals within the care staff are responsible for doing this.

I don't think the police would be bothered. I'm still waiting for a reply from adult care / social services.

    Thanks again.

my brother lives in a care home and i do feel sometimes that staff abuse their power but then sometimes, i feel they need to assert authority to keep residents in check as my brother suffers from mental ill health. the best way to deal with this is to have a family member look after your interest. they can speak to the care home manager and raise their concerns as i find that having someone else looking after your interest will make people more wary of abusing you as there is someone else who can speak up on your behalf.

social services would be a good one to contact as often than not, they are the ones paying or subsidising the care fees so they will have authority to look into any issue, when they get round to it that is as they have too much on their plate to deal with at any one time.
