If its the hose connection I believe that some screw threads are the same as a washing machine outlet valve size..... 3/4\" bsp I believe .
So you probably could use 3/4\" rubber or fibre washers.
If its inside the tap body itself ...not sure ....but for the cost most people would change the tap anyway

The tap already has PTFE tape on it but, once tightened, is horizontal.
