eBay selling help

Just after a bit of advice to cover my back....I sold something on eBay (worth £100) to someone with 0 feedback, the buyer has paid which eBay keeps a hold of until item has been received and feedback has been given. I'm wanting to know if there's any way the buyer can scam me out of the item and get a full refund from eBay? I'm just weary about the 0 feedback thing

The feedback of a buyer at 0 is normal. People have to start an account at some point and have 0 feedback. If you cancel it, you would run the risk of getting a negative.
Not saying it can't be a bad person, but a bad person could have 2000 feedback it makes no difference.
I've had many 0 feedback and had no issues, but i've had people with thousands of feedback try to con me, but i caught them out, they were reported and blocked.
Make sure to send the item tracked, i would use royal mail, and make sure it covers £100.
Do any checks u wish to do using name and postcade on google maps etc.

Take this advise and stop worrying, i've traded on ebay as a business seller for 15 years and never once looked at buyers feedback before sending.

Yes they can receive the item say its faulty ebay will say return he returns a brick with a track number ebay sees return and then refunds

then you contact customer services and get it sorted from your side.

My suggestion is to take plenty of photos when packing, double check everything you have said on the listing is correct and send with a tracked method. (edited)

tbh a lot of 0 feedback are guests account or ppl who set new ones instead of resetting password.
message buyer, ask few questions, see if it is alive person.

I never sell to 0 feedbacks, but then I was once a 0 feedback, and people gave me a chance .

so basically it’s up to the seller to decide, but for a £100 item, it’s a big risk

How do you ensure you don't sell to 0 feedbacks?

Personally I would wrap it safely.
Place it on the floor and jump up and down on it.
    Until it in 1000 bits.
Then throw it in the bin.
    Saves on the postage.
Or next week when you come back on here and say I think I’ve been scammed.
    eBay is a no no.
    Just my opinion.
