Samsung trade in

I have bought a new phone from Samsung and so I need to send in my old phone as part of the trade in.

The leaflet I received seems to indicate I only need to send in the phone and nothing else, after deleting all the data.

Anyone traded a phone in with Samsung before and can confirm this? That they don't need the charger or charging cable? I think the answer is yes, but would like to double check. Thanks

    That's right - handset only.

thank you. I have traded in before with samsung and i do recollect that they only needed the handset, unlike other recycling companies who may want the charger as well as the cable and even all the original accessories! however, my memory is poor, so thought I should check as i can not rely on my memory

I'd also get proof of delivery as well (even if they pay for postage). It'll have the weight printed on it and is an extra layer of proof. It's helped me before with pixels.

Thanks. They have provided tracked 48 with RM, so I will be given a tracking receipt. (edited)

Take photos before you post! They are claiming damage on mine, and want me to pay £100

I am doing a trade in where all the phone has to do is turn on as I stated it was not in a good condition.

I haven't traded in a good condition phone with Samsung. The last one I did was for a cracked screen S9.

But yeah, I took photos and a video, just in case.
